## What is Saro?

Saro is a specialized utility designed to transform messy screenshots and scattered text fragments into structured, actionable note cards. Unlike general-purpose note-taking apps that often become digital graveyards for unorganized data, Saro uses a focused extraction mechanism to distill raw text and images into clear summaries and next steps. Each note organization process consumes in-app coins, with a few complimentary uses granted to every new user to get started.

Students and professionals often face the same "information hoarding" problem: we take screenshots of whiteboards or copy snippets of chat conversations, only for them to sit forgotten in our galleries. Saro solves this by providing a bridge between capturing and doing. When you feed the app a chaotic lecture note or a screenshot of a project brief, it analyzes the content to produce a standardized card containing a concise title, 3 to 5 essential bullet points, and 1 to 3 specific "next steps" to ensure your ideas lead to action. This structured output is designed to be copied directly into your primary knowledge base or task manager, making your fleeting thoughts immediately useful.

The process is straightforward: you provide the fragment, choose a focus—such as Study, Work, or Idea—and the system generates your organized card.

Your privacy is a priority. Images uploaded for analysis are processed only to generate your note card and are not permanently stored on our servers, while your history of up to 50 recent notes is kept exclusively on your local device. Saro is built to be a lightweight companion for your brain, helping you clear the mental clutter without the complexity of a massive database. You can easily favorite important cards, delete old records, or clear your local data at any time through the settings.
