Yet their ad setup is absurd compared to any other video platform. They charge $20/week for content and yet Netflix is closer to $20/month… and they pay their actors and effects people far more. $2/month, sure. $5/month maybe. $10/month would at least be competitive within the industry. $20/month is Netflix and Hulu who are at the peak of streaming services… $20/week?! Highway robbery. That’s 4x more than Netflix. That’s very scam-y. I did not knowingly sign up for, request, or authorise a VIP subscription or any recurring payment. A separate $29.35 has since been deducted from my account. I have not received VIP access, and there is no Saros TV subscription showing in my Apple Subscriptions or Apple Purchase History. I have already contacted my bank, CommBank, regarding this transaction. I am currently attempting to resolve the matter directly with Saros TV before proceeding with a formal dispute. I am therefore requesting that you: 1. Immediately cancel any VIP subscription or recurring payment associated with my account. 2. Refund the full $29.35 charge. 3. Confirm in writing that no further payments will be taken from my account. 4. Provide an explanation of how this subscription was activated, given that I only authorised a one-time coin purchase. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will provide CommBank with the relevant evidence, including the original $29.41 coin purchase, the subsequent $29.35 charge, my Apple Purchase History showing no subscription, and my correspondence with Saros TV, and request that the matter be formally escalated. I would strongly prefer to resolve this directly with Saros TV without further escalation. Please confirm the cancellation and refund as soon as possible.
