Every time I want to take advantage of a special, I have to call the store. Once you hit that reward threshold though, you only have 30 days to use it? And if you don't, it resets to ZERO?!? I must’ve reloaded this app ten times, because every time I touched anything it would freeze, and nothing would unfreeze it. I’d have to delete the app and start all over again. I love Sarpino’s and order it frequently, but I finally gave up and just ordered off their website every time I wanted their food, which is a major inconvenience. Maybe they’ve fixed the app since then, but after being burned so many times I’m reluctant to try again. ### 1/5 — Can’t locate stores, mobile web experience is terrible *2021-05-04, version 1.2.114* All of our friends love Sarpino’s pizza, but ordering has been a nightmare the last couple of times. The app won’t retrieve my nearby locations (tried on two iPhones, also tried uninstalling and re-installing on both), so I can’t order using the app. And the. when you go to order online, the interface is terrible on a phone. And of course you can’t call to get around any of these technical problems. ### 1/5 — New update... but didn’t fix anything! You want me to make all my selections, confirm and reload the page like 5 times, add tips and such, click on the obvious payment card, then confirm again... all in 30 seconds? The Reorder button doesn’t work, starting off immediately at Step One if I try. If not, apparently, “Sorry, not taking your order, kicking you out with no choice now.” Completely defeats the purpose of creating an app, if the customer has to call anyway. ### 1/5 — This app is a mess *2021-03-12* The app is very slow, and the menu categories are difficult to scroll through. But that’s not the reason this app is such a miss for me. They refuse to update their advertised prices. For example, the triple deal says 3 large pizzas are $9 each. But then you click on it, and they up the price to $12 each in your cart without telling you. I contacted them a year ago, and they said they would fix it. But just last week, I almost fell for it again! They have been doing this for at least a year! They are just tricking people into thinking they are getting a good deal, and then overcharging them if they don’t catch it. It seems like it should be illegal, but I’m not sure who this could be reported to. ### 2/5 — Never works when I’m logged in *2024-05-23, version 1.2.174* If I’m logged in I get an error when trying to order every single time. Luckily if I continue as a guest it works, but this needs fixing. Devs check your error logs! It’s been weeks now! Decent pizza for the price, calzones are legitimately a good deal. Once you select a home store it's near impossible to order from a different store or switch locations. Tonight alone I had to cancel two different orders because of location issues and malfunctions with the reorder button.
