### 4/5 — Enhancement Request

*2026-04-12*

Overall a good app but it would be really useful to allow Notification volume to changed based on time of day (or manually)

Loud notifications are great for daytime but at night it would be great to be able to have a less intrusive one … otherwise the whole house gets woken up (which isn’t great for marital harmony!)

At there moment there is no ability to adjust the volume of notifications… it would be a welcome addition.

### 4/5 — Dec 25 update

*2025-12-10*

Great to have CarPlay Integration.

Would have been good to be able to respond Green, Yellow or Red via the CarPlay screen. Especially as when a job comes through, I have to hit dismiss anyway to clear the message.

### 4/5 — Navigate to event

*2025-05-13*

I have used this app since it was started. I do love it, but lately I have found a glitch which is worrying. I ask it to navigate myself to the event. It directs me to Point Cook every time, instead of the actual event. I live 3 hours from Point Cook, in regional Victoria. So this is a problem.

### 1/5 — Unreliable logs you off

*2025-03-09*

Every second time you open the app you need to log in again. Missed most of the call out alerts. Being an emergency service app, this definitely needs to be better. It somehow works all the time for one of my brigade member, while most of us had trouble with the automatic log offs.

### 5/5 — Unable to fix error message

*2025-02-17*

Recently my app began showing error#1022 in push notifications (iPhone), I can no longer mute or unmute. So new jobs don’t alert for me. Also shows #1070 in global settings. I’m in Ambulance space, our IT guys were only able to advise me to delete and reinstall, this hasn’t helped. Also tried resetting iPhone, still no luck. App is virtually useless at present as it won’t alert to a new job.

### 4/5 — Possible enhancements

*2024-09-08*

I gave been using SAS for about 6 months as a SES volunteer and find it very good to use. During the recent weather event, August 2024, the app alerted hundreds of times and one day probably every minute when a new job was assigned. I was frustrating when searching for a job say from the previous day and a new job alerts. The app will refresh the page to the new job. So you then have to scroll back through the hundreds of jobs to search again.
2 possible enhancements.
1. Add a search by job number
2. Do not refresh the job page when a new job alert comes in.

### 4/5 — Works okay

*2024-06-09*

Seems to definitely have some bugs in the settings ie. when you go to add an agency and SAS doesn’t really register it.
Alert sounds could be a bit louder.

### 2/5 — Ridiculously annoying update

*2024-05-05*

So, we used to be able to have 3 pagers listed and in the last update, we only have one. I work on 3 different trucks a week and now I have to input the pager numbers each day. This is ridiculous! Why have you removed our linked pager boxes?? The app is no longer helpful to us for our shifts and we will be removing it.

### 4/5 — Great App, still needs work.

*2023-07-10*

Seems to alert me to fire calls about 10-30 secs before pager. Availability feature needs a lot of work as it is currently difficult to enter availability. A feature where members can ‘chat’ or comment on specific fire calls would be beneficial.

### 3/5 — Quicker than Pager

*2022-12-06*

I have found that the VicEmergency App alerts first, followed by SAS and then the Pager.

Have had been logged out a few times without knowing it. Wouldn’t solely rely on it.

Would be handy if it was available on Apple Watch, particularly for using directions to an incident.
