## What is Sasaya?

Sasaya - an exploration-focused retro-styled platformer in METROIDVANIA genre. The game is expected to follow the Metroidvania-style gameplay. The objective of the player is to guide main protagonist and player character Maria through a mystery castle in order to challenge the forces of evil.

The plot:
During the 16th century one person named Gaben finds an ancient artifact. He starts practicing sorcery in order to bring evil to the world. Some brave people tried to fight with Gaben but no one was able to survive. Finally, young sorceress Maria decided to challenge the forces of evil.

It’s a platform game with an RPG castle theme. I’ve only played it a bit but I have a good impression of the game. I downloaded this game due to hearing about the developer on an app called AppRaven. 

There’s are no ads or IAPs as far as I can tell. There’s a joystick for movement on the left and action buttons on the right. There’s a save point and likely multiple save points in the game. Unsure if it supports controllers. Nice so far.

A bit sparse in places and could do with more ‘going on’ and more varied challenging enemies, but has something about it where I just want to keep exploring. Please add MFi controller support as it would really enhance game.

It’s a pure metroidvania game, where you have to explore a massive castle with a lot of passages and enemies equipped only with your faithful whip. Get a lot of magic items so you can retrace your steps and get access to other places in order to keep going. Great music! Cute simple graphics, clear homage to Castlevania.
