## What is Sassy?

Find your next appointment with Sassy. Speak or type what you need, explore local services, and book with participating OpenSassy businesses.

Talk naturally
Start a live conversation, interrupt Sassy, and change your request. Choose a voice and appearance, and use supported voice commands to move around the app. A visible listening indicator and End control remain available during voice navigation. Ending the call, manually leaving the conversation, or putting the app in the background stops the microphone. Voice is optional.

Find and plan
• Search an area or choose optional foreground location.
• Explore nearby places, with source-labelled reviews, maps and website links.
• Browse participating businesses, services, prices and available appointment times.
• Review and approve proposed bookings before they happen.
• See your visits and manage your saved preferences.
• Receive supported booking updates and reminders when notifications are enabled.
• Pay supported businesses with Apple Pay or card.

Public discovery does not require an account. Sign in for private account features and bookings. External map listings help you discover places but do not provide live appointment availability in Sassy. Prices and availability come from participating businesses.

AI use requires your consent. Live audio and spoken words are processed by OpenAI. Typed AI requests use Anthropic, with OpenAI or xAI as backup providers after the relevant notice is accepted. Sassy explains the applicable sharing before you start. Features are subject to availability and usage limits.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-09-28

### 1.0.5 — 2026-09-25

Meet Sassy's simpler home, with an avatar, one menu and live voice conversation. Speak or type naturally, interrupt to change your request, and review booking actions before approving them. This update also improves connection recovery and notification reliability.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-09-17

Find salons, barbers and other service businesses by name, service and town. See which businesses you can book through OpenSassy and which results link to an external website. Save favourites with your own nicknames, return to recent searches and browse without an AI conversation. This update also improves the discovery layout and keyboard handling.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-15

A clearer booking experience across iPhone and iPad. Explore businesses in a roomier tablet layout, rotate your device without losing your place, and identify service families through consistent, readable colours.

Dictate messages and edit the text before sending. Clear recording and transcription progress, improved microphone recovery, and cancellation that preserves your typed draft.
