Now it asks when it matters: when a friend serves you a round, when someone accepts your request, or when a three-day streak is on the line. Not now means not now for a month, and if you said no once, Larry points you to Settings instead of asking again. CHALLENGE A FRIEND FROM YOUR RESULTS Every practice quiz now ends with a way to send the exact questions you just answered to a friend, or a link if nobody you know is on Larry yet. They play the same round, you compare. YOUR TURN, ON THE CARD When a reply is not possible yet, the turn card says why, right there, instead of sending you to the hub. THE WALL AT THE CAP KNOWS YOUR MISSES When the free quizzes for the day are done, the screen names the questions you missed and what clears them, instead of a generic well done. SMALLER FIXES The goal dial's glow works on every iPhone again. The "a friend told me" step lets you type who, and skipping it is one tap. ### 1.17 — 2026-09-21 YOUR GOAL IS A DIAL NOW Setting your target score used to be a number on a line. It is a dial: the ring, the level and your mascot all answer as you move it, the track shows where each level sits before you get there, and crossing into a new one is a moment you can feel. PICK ANY NAME YOU LIKE Some usernames were being turned down for no good reason, and the screen said "Available!" right above the rejection. Both are fixed. If a name is free, it is yours. ONE COLOR PER SUBJECT Algebra was one color during setup and a different one everywhere after it. Every subject now looks the same wherever you meet it. SMALLER FIXES Changing your goal later uses that same dial. Searching for your dream school finds more of them. The setup screens describe what they actually do. The "a friend told me" step always has a way out. ### 1.16 — 2026-09-20 OPENS AGAIN ON iOS 16 AND 17 If tapping the app sent you straight back to your home screen, this release fixes it. Larry Learns now launches on every iPhone it supports. THE TEXT STAYS WHERE YOU PUT IT The reading passage no longer collapses the moment you answer. It stays at the height you chose, for every question of the same passage, so nothing jumps under your finger. SMALLER FIXES The result of your answer always brings itself into view. ### 1.15 — 2026-09-18 FIND YOUR DREAM SCHOOL The dream-goal picker now knows every US college. Type any part of the name in any order and it finds the school, and whatever you type is always offered as your goal. READ AND ANSWER ON ONE SCREEN The passage stays pinned above the question, so you read and pick an answer without switching back and forth. FOCUS GO BUTTON FIXED Tapping Go on the Focus screen sometimes did nothing. It now always starts the quiz. SMALLER FIXES Apple sign-in problems are reported with their reason so we can fix them. The diagnostic countdown lines up correctly. Cancelling a plan now tells us why so we can act on it. ### 1.14 — 2026-09-17 TELL LARRY WHAT WENT WRONG A thumbs down on a quiz now asks why: too hard, something wrong with a question, the explanation did not help, or the app glitched. Point at the exact question and it reaches us with the quiz attached, so a bad question gets fixed instead of guessed at. A FRIEND TOLD YOU? When you say a friend or classmate sent you, you can now name them. If they are on Larry, you are connected as friends right away and their latest round is waiting for you. Skipping the name still counts your answer. STEADIER ON BAD SIGNAL Saving progress on a weak connection no longer fails while the app still holds a valid sign-in. It uses what it has instead of waiting on the network twice.
