However, it is based on the old SAT format. Please update the test format. Otherwise, it should have 5-star. ### 4/5 — They/Them are singular pronouns too :) *2021-01-10, version 1.6.7* This is a really great app! My only complaint so far is that in one of the writing questions, the sentence was something like “the anthropologist needs to make sure their notes are neat”, and the task was to identify if anything was wrong with the sentence. I said there were no errors, and was marked incorrect because “their is plural”. While they/them is often plural, the anthropologist’s gender wasn't revealed so naturally they/them as singular works. And this isn’t even just recent with pronouns, they/them has always been both singular and plural. Just a bit annoyed that they basically said that they/them pronouns aren’t real :) ### 4/5 — Update! *2020-06-26, version 1.6.7* While I generally enjoyed this app, and I don’t wish to spend too much time on particular aspects that made me give it four stars. However, I noticed that the exams have yet to update, especially it failed to get rid of the vocabulary replacing questions that we don’t see at all in the new SAT. I think the app would be near-perfect if the developers make some efforts to update and adjust its contents to the new SAT. ### 5/5 — ApParently not just for kids. *2020-04-16, version 1.6.7* I loaded the app for my Rising 9th Grader. In order to inspire her, I began a streak count with this app. I’m addicted. ### 3/5 — great but has some flaws *2020-01-05, version 1.6.7* This app is great and very convenient. But, it glitches a lot and the question of the day does not change every day which defeats the whole purpose. Overall, I appreciate that it’s free and easy to use. ### 4/5 — Bugs *2019-12-13, version 1.6.7* I love it but it doesn’t show some of the pictures in math and also it has subtle mistakes like saying 75% off which would mean 25% but then it multiplied by 75% so it shouldn’t say off. The sat has been updated to completely new questions and this app is just giving content that is too old. It would help more to adhere to the new way it’s formatted the DSAT collegeboard test. Do I think it can’t help at all? no, but I think it could help more if increased accuracy was added ### 1/5 — App Issue *2024-01-12, version 1.6.7* The content itself is quite useful, but the app is EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING! The SECOND that I swipe up to see my notifications or turn my brightness up, everything I have been working on is gone in a flash and I am automatically sent to the Question of the Day, which I have already finished 5 times. I would also recommend switching up the order of questions after an assessment that has already been taken, because it is MUCH too easy to remember the exact answer and cheat in a sense. PLEASE FIX THE APP! I can’t take this anymore. I’m considering deleting due to multiple attempts of me trying to restart and begin anew just for it restart AGAIN midway, and it is very pointless because I end up doing the same questions over and over again instead of actually progressing and learning. YOU WILL REGRET IT! ### 1/5 — Dumb questions *2023-03-06, version 1.6.7* I have used up almost all questions on khan academy prep so I needed something new and I deleted this app after less than 10 minutes. The questions are not formatted like official practice tests in any way and are pretty dumb in my opinion, here are some examples: All of Harold’s brothers have red hair, what is not true? If Ron’s hair is red, he is Harold’s brother All of Harold’s family has red hair If Ron’s hair is not red, he is Harold’s brother If Johns hair is not red, he is Harold’s brother If x+y=x2+y2 what is 4(3•5) Answer -240 I have never seen any official questions formatted like that. ### 1/5 — 2nd question and already incorrect, Their is not plural *2022-08-07, version 1.6.7* Had this app for 3 seconds, it gave me a quiz that wasn’t closely related to the SAT and the second question had a fault answer then i quit ### 1/5 — Bad *2021-09-15, version 1.6.7* You have been warned ### 1/5 — Not official avoid it *2020-08-30, version 1.6.7* Avoid it ### 2/5 — College?! *2021-11-29, version 1.6.7* I was just wondering if you use it to get ready for college because I and a 10 year old trying to be good in school should I try something else or is this a good app thanks but byeee ### 2/5 — Seeking benefits much… *2021-03-10, version 1.6.7* I appreciate this app a lot because it provides countless opportunities for all the students taking the SAT, but dare must I say that the best quality of this app is its ability to instantly grade your answer sheet. Which is no longer acquired by this app. During decisions like these , we as student’s, lose the hope of a fair student body and authority that cares more about its test takers then scheming possible ways to create more profit . The elimination of this quality represents and as I said before solidifies the “talk” that College Board cares more about their capital than providing benefits for the success is test takers. The interface is wonderful, though a bit sensitive. I routinely completed one to three of the 10 question math quizzes each day for about a month. My math score improved by 90 points! Taking the quizzes and replicating what I would do on the test day was very helpful.
