This app does everything I want and has all the features I need - all for free! I haven’t found another app as useful for sat work. If you’re an armature radio operator wanting to use satellites, this is the app to get. Great job, developers! ### 5/5 — Wow!! Wow!’ Wow!! *2019-12-03, version 1.4.8* This is the most user-friendly app I have ever used. Absolutely perfect predictions, this app gets any hobbyist on the birds instantaneously. Why spend $5 or $10 for a program when this app gives you everything you need to track satellites. If you use GPS to get position it does not report elevation correctly on my iPhone 8 running current iOS. I never found it listed under various search terms such as ham, amateur, satellite, etc. I managed to find it by googling it. Is there a string of terms missing that prevents it from showing up in the App Store search without typing SatSat specifically? Surely this app should have been reviewed by many enthusiasts and with high ratings. I've mentioned his app to many of my fellow hams at meetings. Many have Android phones. Any possibility of an app for them? I'll check back on reviews occasionally to see if you may be able to reply as I didn't see a way to contact you otherwise. The + button on the My Sats tab causes an immediate exit (v 1.4.10). With my device in dark mode and the SatSat dark mode settings switch turned off, there’s a lot of white on white text in the Settings tab. With device dark mode on, SatSat dark mode off, there’s a lot of black on gray. ### 2/5 — Nice start, but.. *2015-12-21, version 1.1* Best things for this app would be 1. An option to buy to get rid of ads and 2. Plots of the satellite position on the polar display when above the horizon. This is useful to help visually point my handheld antenna. When the ads where added i can not close the ad with out going to the link. I understand making your money back and not being a cheap ham but I deleted already. Thanks for the try. ### 2/5 — Meh, Gpredict users will be disappointed *2015-11-27, version 1.0* 1) Can't set location by entering lat/lon. 2) The selectable cities in the list aren't even in the correct state. (e.g. Columbus, OH in Texas) 3) The satellite list is not subdivided into groups to make searching for and selecting several satellites simple. 4) Frequencies included for each satellite. Nice job! Ever since then, the app opens, runs for about 0.25 seconds, and crashes. Ouch! It does most of what I need it to do. It’s simple and easy to setup. I have recommended it many times to others that are looking for which app is the best. My suggestion for one improvement that would be helpful as a Sat Op is an elevation minimum setting that can be used to filter the calendar of Sat passes. It could be configured in settings or applied from the calendar section. Store a value and apply to calendar results. It would be handy to have as it would allow me to see all the passes i I’m interested in working for that day. Thanks and keep up the excellent work. 73 AI4Y ### 5/5 — Perfect Sat app *2020-05-11, version 1.4.10* This is an awesome app. It is now crashing while trying to add more sats, but I believe the developer is currently fixing this issue. App is very easy to use. I wish it had a “satellite seeker” mode that would show any satellite in your view within the next hour or so. (Filterable) I have a satellite program on my laptop that does this, but I don’t want to carry that out and about. Can’t say enough about SatSat. So easy to use and the developer offers a dark mode with red colors to help maintain a dark adapted eye. Some thought was put into this one folks!
