Privacy & security (HIPAA-aligned)
- End-to-end encrypted health data: medications, conditions, care preferences, chat content, voice transcripts, and uploaded health files are now stored encrypted on our servers (AES-128 + HMAC at the column level, plus disk-level encryption from our cloud database)
- Stronger password protection: switched to Argon2id, a memory-hard, GPU-resistant hash — your existing password is upgraded silently the next time you log in
- Hardware-backed token storage: session tokens now live in the iOS Keychain instead of plain app storage
- HTTPS-only enforcement on every API request
- PHI access audit log: every read, write, and deletion of your health data is recorded so we (and regulators) can verify who touched what and when
