Saunum's patented air-blending system captures the scorching steam that rises near the sauna ceiling, mixes it with cooler, oxygen-rich air near the floor, and distributes the softer steam evenly throughout the sauna. This creates a more balanced temperature from head to toe and makes breathing more comfortable. The result is softer, longer-lasting steam, more even warmth, and the freedom to enjoy richer steam and more intense sweating without excessive heat around your head. ## Key features - Remote scheduling of sauna sessions - Temperature and heater control - Adjustable climate device speed - Preset sauna types - Notifications for session status - Safety door sensor - Child lock ## Recent user reviews (10 of 15) All indexed reviews: https://appshunter.io/ios/app/saunum/id1592918564/reviews.md ### 1/5 — Shameful app *2026-09-22* Absolutely terrible. Can’t believe i paid this much for an app that a 1st year coder could make better. USE CLAUDE CODE. ITS NOT HARD SAUNUM THIS IS A JOKE ### 1/5 — Bad *2026-09-21* Love my heater but software on the control panel and this app aren’t good. Found out through testing sauna automatically turns off after an hour of heating up regardless of timer settings. Control panel has been regularly disconnecting from WiFi and currently can’t get it to reconnect. It just spins and spins. Seems this should be very simple software and app to design. Disappointing and keeps me from recommending Saunum now. ### 1/5 — Pathetic *2026-08-31* As others have said this is so far below expectations for a premium product it’s not even funny. The recent update made everything even worse. The timers for heating and scheduling are now more confusing than ever. What’s more, my connection drops all the time. The whole point of paying like $1800 bucks for a wifi controller (what a scam) is to be able to turn it on remotely. That works intermittently if I’m lucky. That’s literally the primary function of this pathetic app, to stay connected and turn the heater on. I absolutely love my heater but this could be redesigned and improved in an afternoon. Do a design thinking exercise with a handful of consumer tests. It’s not hard. ### 3/5 — August 2026 update okay *2026-08-22* Yes this wasn’t the best app of all time, but it honestly did the job. Turned the sauna on remotely and let you know when it’s ready. New update had me concerned, but give it a day and it should get to working again. Still room for improvement but getting better. Only wish you could turn on fan as it’s heating up ### 1/5 — Shameful app *2026-03-10* Absolutely terrible. Can’t believe i paid this much for an app that a 1st year coder could make better ### 1/5 — QR Code Problems *2026-02-26* Horrible app - cannot pair with my brand new sauna heater. I feel I made a huge mistake buying this brand. This has been a waste of time and energy. ### 2/5 — Not even basic *2026-02-24* There isn’t that much a basic sauna app needs to do. This app sets the bar below that and fails to achieve it. The interface is confusing, the connection is unreliable, and the functions are severely limited. It should also have a watch interface - which you can bring into the sauna - rather than just a mobile device - which can easily overheat. Do better - an AI agent could fix this quickly. ### 1/5 — Wasted my time *2026-02-08* This app will not scan the QR code necessary to pair with a control unit, rendering it useless. However after wasting an enormous amount of time on this, I took a PHOTO of the unit’s QR code displayed on the screen, and PRINTED it out on a piece of paper, and at long last the app scanned and paired with it. For heavens sake Saunum test and update this app. ### 1/5 — Sadly, unusable *2025-12-09* The app does not read the qr code on the control unit to pair with the sauna. It cost $7k and the app does not work. ### 2/5 — Unstable Coding *2025-11-17* Very unreliable. My brand new unit regularly requires a reboot to connect to my Wi-Fi. The scheduling often doesn’t work and there haven’t been any stability upgrades to this app in ages. I paid $5000 for my Saunum unit and am stunned by how flakey their software is. Shame on them. ## Frequently asked questions about Saunum ### How do I connect Saunum Leil to my sauna?
