## What is SauronOS?

SauronOS is a field capture app for drone operations, mobile scanning, and photogrammetry project preparation.

Plan drone image routes, monitor supported aircraft connection state, prepare photo sets, and organize reconstruction-ready projects from one focused iPhone workflow.

Use SauronOS to:
- Prepare aerial capture routes for supported drone workflows.
- Capture and review AR/LiDAR scan sessions on compatible devices.
- Create photogrammetry projects from selected original-resolution photos.
- Choose aerial route matching for drone footage with POS telemetry, or object/scene matching for handheld and phone captures.
- Save projects locally or start server reconstruction when your reconstruction server is available on the same trusted network.

SauronOS is designed for operators who need clean capture organization before processing data with their own reconstruction infrastructure. Drone features require compatible hardware and safe operation under applicable local rules. Reconstruction server features require a user-configured server on the same local network.
