The service felt highly overpriced, with charges of around ₹24 per km despite the driver allegedly driving rashly and maintaining very very poor vehicle cleanliness. For a Delhi to Lucknow trip costing approximately ₹13,000, the platform appears to have taken a very high commission, which raises serious concerns about pricing transparency and value for customers. What was even more frustrating was the customer support. Instead of addressing the concerns, the response felt dismissive and unhelpful, with representatives insisting that the service provided was acceptable. The attitude came across as arrogant and lacking empathy for customer issues. Based on my experience, I strongly do not recommend this service. Customers deserve transparent pricing, professional drivers, clean vehicles, and respectful customer support. The driver called to say he has arrived but then stopped picking up the phone and vanished. Thanks, Savaari Team ### 1/5 — Too costly and overall not great experience *2026-06-09* Their cost is too high, they get a local driver for the ride, if you get a local driver yourself you can easily end up getting the same ride 40-50% less price. If you are coming via a flight you can get a cab at a much lower cost outside airport and in most cases via uber / Ola also - even they charge less. So, final word of caution, avoid them. Due to a system error, the driver received the wrong location. I spent 20 minutes on the phone with customer support, only to have the agent tell me the driver wouldn't take the trip—and then they simply hung up on me. This all happened at the last possible moment, leaving my family stranded right as we were supposed to check out for our trip to Bangalore. No alternative, no apology, just total abandonment. They confirm a pickup time—for instance, 4:30 PM—only to cancel the booking right at the scheduled pickup time. And even then, we only find out about the cancellation when we call them ourselves. Everyone at our office has already deleted this app and stopped using it; I urge you all to delete it as well. The cab provided through MakeMyTrip - savaari was extremely dirty and unhygienic. During the trip, the driver repeatedly stopped to search for CNG and even took an unnecessary detour of around 18 km, wasting our time. After failing to find CNG, he demanded that we pay for petrol ourselves and suggested that he would not continue the journey otherwise. The most concerning part was the behaviour of the driver and the vehicle owner. There were three passengers in the cab, including two female passengers, and the constant arguments, pressure, and harassment made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe throughout the journey. What disappointed us even more was MakeMyTrip's handling of the complaint. Despite having video recordings, photos, and other evidence, our concerns were not properly addressed. We were initially led to believe that a full refund would be provided due to the severity of the issues, but later we were offered only ₹200 as compensation. Customer safety, comfort, and accountability should be a priority for any travel platform. Unfortunately, based on our experience, MakeMyTrip failed on all three counts. I never allowed driver to travel at night, but nightly allowance was mandatorily included in final price. Better book directly with from a local driver/agency instead of Savaari. Also driver refused to go at many places in the city saying that savaari service does not allow that.
