Vorteil: App für den Mac. Nachteil: Design ziemlich altbacken. Miso sieht deutlich schicker aus.

Ich bin heute durch Zufall auf die App gestoßen, da ich eine Möglichkeit suche meine Rezepte zu speichern und für die Woche auch zu planen. Ich teste die kostenlose Version, bin mir aber nicht sicher wie viele Rezepte ich mit der kostenlosen Variante speichern kann. Optik gefällt mir schon mal sehr gut mit den Fotos und der Tag-Option, so kann man alles schön sortieren und auch optisch trennen bzw. Nach Tag filtern. Einziges Manko zum Start war, dass das Übertragen von Rezepten aus der Körbchen App nicht funktioniert und ich beim manuellen Eintragen zwischendurch plötzlich nicht mehr speichern kann (alles freezed). Muss dann nochmal alles eintragen und wenn ich schnell bin speichert es dann aber normal. Wenn man dann zurück klickt, kommt man komischerweise wieder in den Bearbeitungsmodus, was etwas nervig ist. Bislang aber trotzdem schon mal sehr cool und bin gespannt, wie sich die App entwickelt.

Du kannst Rezepte aus allen Apps per Screenshot mit dem Rezeptscanner importieren. Dadurch werden auch alle inkompatiblen Apps und Websites unterstützt. Somit musst du nicht alles manuell eingeben.

Nach dem gestrigen Update geht nichts mehr. Rezepte lassen sich weder scannen noch importieren. Kommt immer die Fehlermeldung, das Rezept konnte nicht gefunden werden. Super nervig. Feedback in der App abgeben ist auch nicht möglich, daher hier. Ich habe die Pro Version.

UPDATE: Inzwischen funktioniert alles wieder einwandfrei. Das Problem hat sich quasi mit der Lösung überschnitten. Danke. Ich habe noch eine Anregung: super wäre es, wenn die Mr. Cook App auch auf dem MacBook (Pro) funktionieren würde.

I was looking for a good solution to consolidate all of my recipes in one space and this stood out to me because of the AI capabilities to convert hand written cards, ability to bring in web link recipes I had saved, and also pull out and digitize (using AI) some recipes that I like in various cookbooks that are taking up a lot of space at home. I upgraded to take full advantage of the AI capabilities as it’s a huge time saver on this project. I like that I can add multiple “tags” to my recipes, makes it easy to find those that certain family members love and sort recipes by who shared them, etc. Loving this so far!

Application vraiment bien faite, la génération des recettes est sympa, on peut en faire une liste de course très simplement. Par contre on est obligé de s’abonner sur téléphone car il n’est pas possible de fermer la fenêtre, la croix est derrière le logo de la batterie.
Pour l’instant j’utilise la version web mais j’espère qu’une petite mise à jour pourra être faite :)
Je m’abonnerai quand j’aurais un peu plus testé ^^

(Accessoirement il est indiqué 179€ l’abonnement Life alors que sur le site c’est 79)

Die Rezepte kann man auf unterschiedliche Weise einfach hinterlegen und mit Freunden teilen. Tolle Idee! KI hat mir schon leckere Rezepte für meine Lebensmittel  im Kühlschrank vorgeschlagen. Schön, dass ich die App gefunden habe.

Endlich eine App die auch Leuten perfekt hilft die nicht so kreativ sind und häufig das gleiche  kochen. Selbst mit nur wenigen Zutaten kommen super Ergebnisse raus die klasse schmecken.

Mit Abstand die beste App, um Rezepte per KI zu erstellen oder bestehende und neu gefundene Rezepte zu organisieren! Außerdem wird die App stetig weiterentwickelt und man kann alle Änderungen transparent mitverfolgen.

Sehr gefährlich, es gibt unter anderem ein Rezept für Knollenblätterpilze mit Kartoffeln und Speck. Knollenblätterpilze sind jedoch tödlich giftig!!!

Ca demande automatiquement de se connecter avec un mail et on peut pas y accéder sans avoir valider de code qu’on ne reçois jamais peut importe le mail et même dans indésirables, rien on reçoit rien du tout.

He bajado la app pero al intentar escanear mediante foto distintas recetas de distintos libros no ha funcionado ni una vez. Indica problemas con la solicitud.

I read some good reviews of this app and downloaded it. When I got to the section about the privacy policy, I clicked on it and saw the longest privacy policy I’ve ever seen: just under 30,000 words. That’s  about 60 single spaced pages of text. Fortunately, ChatGPT was easily able to read through it and highlight a few red flags. 
You may find this completely acceptable, but as someone who is concerned with privacy I do not, so I will be deleting the app and canceling my subscription immediately.
From ChatGPT: 

1. Meta Integration Is Extensive
This is not just “we have a Facebook page.”

They explicitly use:
Meta Pixel
Facebook Conversions API
Advanced Matching
Custom Audiences
Instagram Ads
Audience Network

That combination enables:

cross-site tracking,
attribution,
ad retargeting,
profile enrichment,
lookalike audience generation.

The most important language is this:

“Contact Information ... names, email addresses and telephone numbers ... transmitted to Meta”

and:

“behavioral and interest data ... for targeted advertising and audience building”

That means:

if you use the app/site,
and especially if you create an account with a normal email address,
Meta can potentially correlate:
recipe interests,
cooking behavior,
subscription status,
site interactions,
conversion events,
with your broader Meta advertising identity.

Even hashed identifiers are still very effective for matching.

2. The Tracking Is Broader Than Strictly Necessary

This is not a minimalist:

“we only use analytics to improve the app”

policy.

They are doing:

retargeting,
conversion tracking,
remarketing,
audience segmentation,
click tracking,
personalized ads,
Meta custom audiences,
Google Ads remarketing.

That’s a full commercial marketing stack.

For a recipe app, one could reasonably argue this is more aggressive than necessary.

Really liked the idea, so I ended up subscribing and started importing some recipes from social media. But most of the time it ended up importing the recipe twice, so in the end I only imported 8 recipes, but wasn’t able to do any more as according to the app, I have used my 15 monthly imports. So I feel like I’ve wasted £4 now.

Eine wirklich großartige App zum kreativen Kochen und zur Rezeptverwaltung auch für den fortgeschrittenen Hobbykoch. Ich nutze sie seit einem Jahr und bin rundherum zufrieden. 
Was gefällt mir besonders:
. Der unglaublich flexible und tolerante Import von Rezepten: Man kann ihm wirklich alles geben, was entfernt nach einem Rezept aussieht, irgendwie eine Zutatenliste und ein paar Schritte zur Zubereitung enthält. Ein Zeitungsausschnitt (gescanntes Papier oder digital, eine Koch-Newsletter-Mail, diverse Web-Seiten mit Rezepten oder bekannte Rezeptsammlungen und deren Apps, ein Chat mit dem CoPi, selbst die handschriftlichen Backrezepte von der Oma landen klaglos und mit wenig Nacharbeit in der Rezeptesammlung.
. Plattformübergreifende Arbeit: Schnell mit dem iPhone ein Rezept gescannt, mit dem iPad am Herd gekocht oder am Windowsrechner mit großem Monitor in der browserbasierte Version aufgeräumt oder das Weihnachtsmenü geplant - geht alles klaglos vor und zurück.
. Mit den KI-generierten Rezepten fremdele ich noch etwas, ist mir nicht flexibel genug, aber bestimmt hervorragend geeignet für eher Kochanfänger. Ich bevorzuge den kreativen und von mir selbst gesteuerten Austausch mit meinem Freund CoPi und importiere das Diskussionsergebnis als Rezept s.o. 
. Last but not least: Ein sehr responsiver Entwickler, danke.

Für mich bisher die beste App um Rezepte zu speichern und zu bearbeiten. Anregungen und gewünschte Änderungen, soweit möglich, werden zeitnah umgesetzt. Der Autor ist bemüht auf die Wünsche einzugehen. Ich kann die App uneingeschränkt empfehlen .

Ich suchte eine App, um aus verschiedenen Quellen Rezepte für mich an einem Ort zu sammeln. Wirklich toll ist die Möglichkeit, Rezepte nicht nur aus online-Quellen, sondern auch aus Büchern, losen Zetteln oder anderen Apps in Mr. Cook zu importieren. Besonders beeindruckend ist, wie die App aus anders- oder eher unstrukturierten Informationen mit einem oder mehreren Screenshots sauber strukturierte Rezepte hervorbringt (Plus-Version). Zu den KI Funktionen kann ich nichts sagen, weil ich nur die Plus-Version habe. Insgesamt eine wirklich tolle, runde Sache! Was ich mich noch frage, ist, ob alle meine Rezepte verschwinden, falls der Server einmal abgestellt wird…?

This app has easily saved me countless hours of time in so many ways, from time spent choosing what to eat, or dealing with the worst websites on the internet (janky cooking blogs littered with ads and trackers 😤), to making something spontaneously based on what I have in my fridge with its AI recipe generator (and they can be remixed or changed easily). Meal planning and making a grocery list takes less than a minute, even faster after building your recipe library. 

Thank you to the devs for making such a well designed and functional app, with just the right amount of AI to level it up.
