The app you downloaded is a Safari extension that can be used to send documents and files directly from your browser to Dropbox without any download. It does not require the Dropbox app, but if you would also need the Dropbox app, you can download it from here: https://www.dropbox.com/downloading To save a document that you see in your Safari browser to Dropbox, just right click the document link and select the "Save to Dropbox" option or, if you have a document opened in your browser (like a PDF document), just click the extension button in Safari (near the address bar). So this extension integrates Dropbox with Safari, this is the job. If you need something else, I guess you can use the Dropbox app that you can download from the above link. Hope this helps. But for videos, sometimes (not all times) the owner of the site, let's say Youtube.com can hide the location of the video or stream it in real time - this is true only for video, other kind of files will work just right with this extension. My money was a waste. The extension is far to complcated to be user friendly. I wanted to upload some of the writing (papers) that I was completing, It will not upload anything on my screen to DropBox unless the documenty is open in a browser. Look at the Title and First two line of description in the App Store; no mention that ONLY “stuff” on the web brower will be upload. Regards ### 1/5 — Where is it? *2019-04-10* Downloaded says it’s a safari extension but doesn’t show up under share or move to anywhere and when you open it up the only option you have is to disable it!
