## What is Saveo Wedge?

Saveo Wedge is a keyboard wedge app for the Saveo barcode scanners. When you scan a barcode, it is typed directly into whatever text field is active on your device — in any app. No custom app integration is required. Saveo Wedge works wherever you can place a cursor: spreadsheets, ERP systems, inventory apps, web forms, or any other iOS app that accepts text input.

• Injects scanned barcodes into any iOS app via a custom keyboard 
• Output rules — add a prefix, suffix, or carriage return; strip leading or trailing characters; find-and-replace; insert a
delimiter; or insert text at a specific position 
• Live preview — enter a test barcode to see your rules applied before saving 
• Connects via Bluetooth, Lightning, or USB-C 
• Scan button remains active when you switch to another app 
• Device screen shows connection type, battery level, and firmware version
