This app is great, especially considering it’s in the beginning stages of being put out there. I’ve had it for a few months but recent updates have made it better. The only qualm I have is that the food isn’t always actually 50% off, but regardless, it’s still a discount which is super nice. Can’t complain at that!

This app has been a lifesaver as a college student. I don’t have to worry about cooking as often and I don’t have to feel guilty about eating out all the time because the food is so cheap and it saves me time so I can study and do other things. Lifesaver.

Went to three locations that were offered on this app and all three locations had amazing food at a great price. Communication with the merchant and the app could be a little better but other than that it is great.

Everything I’ve bought on the app has been discounted from the original price. I’ve purchased from 5 different places so far. All the food has been fresh, except when you buy day old bakery items. Some places do make it look like you are getting a bigger discount than you actually are by putting a higher-than-actual original price.
Overall, I have loved the app and have enjoyed getting discounted food from restaurants!

First off, 5 stars cause the overall idea of the app is great and I’ve used it A LOT. Please adjust original prices though- it’s so misleading to say something is more than it really is. The deals are good, but an honest deal is the best. 

Also, the app is not great to navigate. The constant reloading is annoying and if there was some mile radius you could set, that would be more efficient.

This app is seriously the best EVER EVER!!! It works with local restaurants in your area to help items from going to waste!!! Super discounted items like MEGA DISCOUNT 50% and more!!! Totally helps get your foot into new restaurants too? Idk I’m more willing to try their food discounted, but wow now I have some new favorites that’s forsure!!!! This is a MUST download app seriously!!!

I love the idea of less food waste while saving money. I’ve gotten to try new places and eat delicious food for less. In Salt Lake they’re just getting started so hopefully we see new restaurants soon since it’s mostly dessert right now.

Good idea but some things are misleading. Most things in the app are cheaper than if ordered at the store, but whenever it says 50% off that is a flat out lie. You can go to each restaurant and see what the regular prices are. They grossly exaggerate what normal prices are.

Second was I had ordered in the app for a restaurant that was closed at the time the order was placed. I called the restaurant when I arrived for my order and the owner said they were closed and should not be showing up as active in Savor and that he had been contacting Savor trying to have that fixed. I contacted Savor and they said that they would refund me and give me credits on my account. I never got the credits and two weeks later still no refund. I had asked them about the refund multiple times since the order was placed. I wouldn’t bother using this app to find discounted food. There are better ways to go about it.

So far, all restaurants on this app that I’ve seen have falsely jacked up their “regular prices” quite a bit - pretty sure the developers are knowing this is happening. Just know you’re basically only getting a few dollars off when you order when the offers are active during the restaurants down time. Why not just be straight with the discounts/regular prices?

Any time I’ve tried to buy from the app it gets me to the checkout screen, I put in my information, it tells me “thanks for ordering” then has a loading circle that comes on and makes my phone screen freeze. Then it exits out and tells me I have no orders. I’ve tried from at least 5 different restaurants, multiple different times. It happens every time.

Can’t log in, can’t change password. Tried everything I could think of. Y’all went away for a while. When the app came back I was locked out. I guess all I can do is leave a bad review and hope the developer reaches out to me. I had an account when it was budget bites but now can’t log in, can’t change password. I got the text message announcing the rebranding. I put in my email but my password no longer worked. The reset password email with a code never shows up. Don’t feel like creating a new email just for this app. So if you’re the developer, hit me up so you can help me reset my password/account and get access to the app. And then I can delete this negative rating.

Great idea and a win for everyone, the app however… 

Navigating through all the restaurants has become less exciting and more of a chore, especially as more and more restaurants join. The biggest improvement needed is adding a way to filter out restaurants by distance. (… I’m not driving 30+ miles, no matter how sweet the treat). Far away restaurants just clutter up the feed. 

Second, the notification settings are currently broken. You’re going to get ALL the notifications whether you set them to “all,” “favorites only,” or “none.”

(The 4+ second loading screens could use some work too but I feel nitpicky at this point… sorry :/ ) 

No hate at all, the app could just really use a little work in a couple of areas.

Some restaurants will lie about the original price making it seem like you are getting a bigger discount than you are actually getting.

If you go to their website you’ll see that what the food usually sells for is much lower than what they say in the app.

I’ve been using Savor for several months now, and for a while I could always count on it  for food that was cheap enough to eat on a college budget. But recently, I’ve noticed that several restaurants are posting their food for double the real price, and then “discounting” the price 50%. It completely ruins the point of the app because now I’m seeing restaurants who just list their food at their regular prices. Thankfully, there are still a few out there who do 50% or even a smaller discount, but if it keeps going this way, will definitely discontinue using this app.

I think in general this app is nice but there’s a huge gap in location management. For instance, it should show how far the restaurant is from my current location. Also it’s hard to change the location of delivery

I love this app but not all experiences with it are positive since restaurants aren’t always straightforward. I just ordered food for “half price” only to arrive at the restaurant for pickup and see on the menu that I paid full price for my food. Also, the restaurants need to be able to post clear food descriptions - one restaurant listed multiple tacos as one item, but when I ordered two orders of tacos, I only got two tacos total. There wasn’t an option to add toppings either, so I just got tortillas and meat.  

Maybe that’s a problem with the restaurant overall, but I think the app should incentivize honesty from restaurants about what you’re ordering.

I tend to default to the same restaurants when we go out since sometimes places are a swing and a miss. This provides a fun way to explore new restaurants and helps with sustainability. We’ve found a few new restaurants we love now due to this app!

I love that this app lets me try new restaurants for "lower stakes" than paying full price. As a poor college student, it isn't fun to splurge a little on a meal only for it to be disappointing, so I like being able to try new things for half price. I do find the app a little difficult to navigate. I wish it was easier to browse and look at multiple options before ordering, but backing out of a menu refreshes the whole app and really slows that process down. It's only a few seconds each time, though, so still 5 stars!

I remember the exact moment I learned about Savor because it was the moment my life changed for the better. My husband and I are big foodies and we were spending way too much money going out to eat. Then came along Savor. We’ve tried so many new restaurants at half price and have found some great places to eat. This app is a need if you live in Utah County.

Today at lunch I hopped on Savor and found a new restaurant I hadn’t heard of. The food was amazing and the portions were great.  It’s a place I never would have tried without Savor.  I will definitely be back there.  

Last week it was my daughters birthday and I hopped on Savor on the way home and found a cookie place on the way home with a great offer, I placed the order in like 2 clicks and the cookies were there waiting in minutes.

Here is a great app that gives me new options and new ideas as to where to find food to enjoy! I like how it has a focus on some of the businesses that I might not typically go to on my own gives me great discount on finding new favorite restaurants. This half is perfect for those on a budget, college students, and anyone who likes finding new options for food!

I love the concept of this App! The fact that I get to eat amazing local foods all in an effort to curb food waste is amazing! So far I’ve gotten wilkshakes, boba teas, falafel, and Taiwanese chicken! It’s been amazing and anytime I don’t know what to eat I go on the app to look for options. 
The only downside to the app is that occasionally the restaurants they have aren’t very close to you, or they don’t always have discounted food at all hours of the day. But that’s a really small con compared to all the rest!

Love Savor! I’ve ordered on the app a few times and have loved using it so far. It’s an easy app to use, and the food that I have received have all been great. I love the concept behind the app. There are a number of apps that have the same purpose, but there are none that cater to Utah. The food ordered on here are discounted at 50%. I think it’s such a good deal! I only wish there were more restaurants on here.

I love being able to browse around at different times of the day for great deals on local food. It makes for a spontaneous date night. 
You select a restaurant, decide if you’d like to order what’s available, and then order and pay on the app.  And I’ve had no issues so far in picking up the food ordered. 
Great app!
