It will not let you sign in any other way. It will say your device is linked to x email account. I can’t log in because they haven’t programmed their app to allow apple’s privacy protection. It was super frustrating trying to log in via gmail and apple with it refusing unless I used the apple generated email used at the time of my account creation. Apple has been doing email privacy overlay for over a year now.
