## What is Savoured?

Savoured — Your Recipe Book

A beautiful, personal cookbook that lives in your pocket. Save recipes from the web, jot them down by hand, and keep everything organized in one place.

Save from Safari in one tap
With the built-in Safari extension, saving a recipe is as easy as tapping a button. Savoured grabs the title, ingredients, and steps — no copying and pasting required. Works great with your favorite food blogs and recipe sites.

Clip recipes from any URL
Paste a link to any recipe page and Savoured will parse out the important bits: ingredients, method, cook times, servings, and photos. Review everything before saving to make sure it looks right.

Organize your way
Tag recipes with categories like Pasta, Soups, or Desserts, then filter with the tabs at the top. Search by title or ingredient to find exactly what you're looking for.

Cook without interruption
Turn on cooking mode and your screen stays on while you follow a recipe. No more tapping the screen with flour-covered hands just to keep it awake.

Convert measurements
Switch between imperial and metric with one tap. Convert all your recipes at once or pick individual ones. Clean, sensible values — no weird decimals.

Photos for every dish
Recipes imported from the web keep their photos. Tap any image to view it full screen, and swipe through galleries.

Designed to feel like a real cookbook
Cream paper backgrounds, handwritten notes, serif typography, index card rows, and manila category tabs. Savoured looks and feels like the cookbook you'd actually want on your shelf.

Free to start
Save up to 10 recipes for free. Unlock unlimited recipes and the Safari extension with a single one-time purchase — no subscription, no recurring charges, yours forever.

Your recipes, your device
No account required. Your recipes are stored on your device and synced through iCloud. We don't track you and we don't see your data.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-11

Until now Savoured was somewhere to keep recipes. This update is the part where you actually cook them.

COOK MODE
Tap Start cooking and the recipe takes over the screen — one step at a time, in type you can read from the other side of the kitchen. Swipe to move on. The screen won't go dark on you mid-fold. Wander off and it holds your place.

TIMERS, ALREADY SET
Savoured reads the durations out of your own method. "Brown the butter for 5 minutes" becomes a button. Tap it once and the countdown follows you through the rest of the recipe, then tells you when it's up — phone in your pocket or not.

INGREDIENTS YOU CAN TICK OFF
A tap strikes one through, so you never lose your place halfway down a list of eighteen.

A SHOPPING LIST THAT CAN ADD UP
Put two recipes on the list and Savoured merges them properly. One wants a cup of flour, the other wants 250 g? That's one line reading 375 g — because it knows what flour weighs.

CONVERSION FOR COOKS, NOT CALCULATORS
Cups of flour become grams, not millilitres. Oven temperatures land where your dial actually has markings: 350°F is 180°C, not 176.7°C. Tins convert too — a 9x13 inch tray is 23x33 cm. And the method converts alongside the ingredients, so step two never argues with your ingredient list.

COOKING FOR FEWER, OR MORE
Set the portions and every quantity follows. Or work backwards: tell Savoured you've only got 300 g of flour left and the whole recipe rescales around it.

SMALLER THINGS

Teaspoons stay teaspoons — 7.5 ml of salt never helped anyone
Eggs and tins stay whole, so no more 2¼ eggs
Recipes saved from Safari now bring their category with them, so your tabs fill themselves in
Fixed: a recipe with a "+" in it lost the plus on the way over from Safari
Fixed: saving could fail without saying so — it tells you now

Still no account, no analytics, no trackers. Your recipes stay on your device.
