Instead of helping me fix it they just shut my account and kept my money. I didn’t understand how I was getting $100 when I had only paid in $10 a week for a few weeks. Plus I get $30 after paying 3 $10 payments! You have to let it play out, don’t just cash out the signup bonus and leave! The best part is all the money I’ve invested is still my money. I promise you won’t be disappointed by signing up & saving this money. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Scam….Stay Away From *2024-05-10* Applied a few days ago, and found out today that they were “unable to verify my identity”, after sending my ID. The whole point of sending in the ID was to do just that. This has become a common bait and switch with banks, and these “financial technology companies” . Apply, and then asked to upload ID under the pretense of “ one last step before approval”, you do then they’ve got your information and then they deny you. What do you have??? Nothing except knowledge that your information was potentially compromised. This is how identities are stolen. These people state “ they won’t tell you what information was used”, even though it’s your right to that information. It’s time to take a stand. These people are trash. We should work together for a class action suit. ### 1/5 — DO NOT SIGN UP *2024-01-23, version 1.0.31 (71)* They do not have any support and they won’t stop billing my credit card nor payout. They initially paid out, but I haven’t gotten a payout in months. Calling my credit card to stop future transactions and dispute the rest. ### 1/5 — What a waste of time *2024-01-13* I got my first payout and was excited to see the app actually work and then when the second round came to payout it never did so I put in 100 and can’t take out any… customer service? No… I’ve been waiting in the chat for 3 weeks for someone to respond. I wrote another review hoping for a response that way but since I only gave them one star I think it got deleted… go figure ### 1/5 — Swindled *2023-11-09* This app seems to be nothing more than a poorly developed but well presented tactic to swindle desperate folks out of whatever possible. Not only do payments seem to not go out, the vast majority of features are unavailable, deposited funds are not reflected in the app, and the “support” is actually just a personal cell number you can text. They actually request you make deposits by sending money to a cashapp account when they have “technical errors”. Waiting to hear about the inevitable lawsuit against the developer, and frankly shocked that apple has allowed this scheme on the App Store. ### 1/5 — This is a scam *2023-10-06, version 1.0.17 (45)* There’s no pay out. They take your money and give you the run around. Canceled my account but no refund no promised 20$. Avoid! ### 1/5 — -1 *2023-09-23, version 1.0.14 (39)* This app is stupid and lies and it’s a scam ### 1/5 — Blindsided and ignored *2023-09-12, version 1.0.14 (39)* I was referred and told I only had to put in $10 and I would get $20 and then at “any” time if I wants to opt out then I could simply do so. I was told it was a “saving your money” app. So I tried it and once I signed on and looked into the app I was like “oh no I can’t be paying $10 weekly, I’m disabled and unemployed I get so little money every cent is accounted for. So I tried to opt out, there’s no way to do so. I have been trying since August 20/2023 to reach support with their chat. They reply “THANK YOU FOR YOUR MESSAGE. SAWA WILL GET BACK TO YOU WITHIN 1 BUSINESS DAY.” It is now September 11/2023 and no reply. That’s 16 business days Sawa…. SMH! so it looks like I lost my $10. So disappointed at the lack of professionalism. This felt to me like a pyramid scam almost which is why I was like no thanks on top of the fact that I’m on disability broker than anything lol ### 1/5 — Horrible *2023-08-23* If you are doing this for the promotion, don’t do it, it’s not worth it. You have to enter all your personal information and it’s not safe and secure and it’s hard to back out of charges once they start coming. I would recommend finding another savings app if you can. ### 1/5 — Watch your back *2023-08-12, version 1.0.13 (36)* They continuously take your money, there’s no legit way of contacting them (trust me I have tried). It is a great concept but clearly their execution lacks heavily! ### 1/5 — Beware!!! *2023-08-03, version 1.0.12* Once you sign up you HAVE to give them all your information, you don’t get the bonus don’t believe that. And you can’t even adjust you setting, delete your card or whatever until you pay the $10.00 subscription and finish “onboarding”. I signed up months ago and it has worked well. I save each week and it’s fun to realize how quickly my balance grows. I’ve used Sawa for six months now and it’s one of my favorite financial apps I have on my phone. I’ve saved over $400 without even noticing that I’m putting money away and I have gotten 5 large payouts. You get paid for points that you earn in the app and you can redeem the points for immediate cash. SAWA isn’t just an app; it’s a community-driven tool that makes finance management engaging and supportive. ### 5/5 — Help! *2023-11-26, version 1.0.23 (57)* I need some help I recently had problems with the app where it wouldn’t load right, to which, I contacted support and they said they would look into it. I never heard back from them after that.. so eventually I got the app to load properly and have updated it but for some reason it won’t let me go past the enroll flow section even though, before I started having problems with it, I had already filled all that out and had already made two $10.00 payments. I was able to cash out the first payment but the app crashed when I was only a few days away from getting my $100.00 payout. Needless to say, I was unable to receive my $100.00 payout and was wondering if you guys could help because I have already paid two weeks into this and only received one payout. Thanks. ### 5/5 — Been here since the start *2023-11-17* I actually have been here since the App was in its testing stage and was only advertised. 1st the basis of this app is to SAVE , the $10 a week is saved until you reach $100 then sent to you either by cash app or debit card. So I would highly RECOMMEND using the email address and phone number associated with your cash app when signing up. 2. Yes, there have been some issues as the app is VERY 😬knew. I received all bonuses and reached out to customer support when I didn’t receive 1 bonus and it was sent to my cashapp the next day. 3. Once I reached $100, funds where deposited into the bank associated with my debit card I added to the app. 4.Awesome that it allows you to earn points for making your SAVINGS deposit on TIME.👈🏼 Once you accumulate enough points you can ELECT to cash out to yourself OR deposit to community bank which allows for loans, ect. Now with this being said if you CAN NOT commit to saving $10 a week don’t 🛑sign up. As with all bonus programs a certain amount has to be deposited and the account has to remain open for a certain period of time in order to receive bonuses. Don’t leave a bad review due not reading or understanding the program itself. This IS NOT a SUBSCRIPTION. Nor an OPPORTUNITY to do a Sign up and close account turnover for profit opportunity.
