## What is Sayfa?

Sayfa is a reading log, set like a book. You write down the pages, Sayfa keeps the count.

LOG IN FIVE SECONDS
Slide the page ruler to where you stopped and save. That's the whole habit.

A GOAL YOU CAN KEEP
Pick a number of pages you could read on a tired evening. Twenty lines fill as you go, and the day turns burgundy when you get there.

YOUR BOOKS, YOUR SHELF
Scan the barcode on the back cover and Sayfa fills in the title, author and page count. Finished books line up on a shelf by year, each spine as wide as the book was long.

KEEP THE LINES YOU LOVE
Underline a sentence in the book, photograph the page, and Sayfa picks out what you marked. Adjust the selection, fix anything misread, add the page and a note. Your quotes live on the book's page, newest first, with a mark on the progress bar where each one sits. Pages are read on your iPhone; the photo is never stored or uploaded.

SEE YOUR PACE
A streak, your longest streak, pages a day, a year of reading at a glance, and an honest estimate of when you'll finish at your pace. After two weeks, Sayfa starts noticing your patterns.

A DAY WORTH KEEPING
Reach the goal, finish a book or hold a streak and Sayfa offers a card for it: a title page, a colophon or a ledger. Share it, or save it to Photos. Or don't. Nothing is posted anywhere.

QUIET BY DESIGN
No feed, no followers, no library to curate. No ads and no analytics. One gentle reminder a day, and only if you haven't logged yet.

YOURS
Everything works without an account and stays on your iPhone. An optional account (Sign in with Apple or email) backs up your log and carries it to a new phone. Export everything as a CSV, or delete your account, from inside the app at any time.

In English and Turkish.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-10-05

"A small daily task, if it be really daily, will beat the labours of a spasmodic Hercules." — Anthony Trollope

Widgets are here:

Today: see today's pages against your goal at a glance.
Quick Log: add pages with a single tap, without opening the app.
Currently Reading: your book, your page, and how far you've come.
Pace: your last seven days in one quiet chart.
Lock Screen: keep your daily goal and streak next to the clock. They work in StandBy too.

New: Quotes and Notes

Quotes: save the lines you don't want to lose. Take a photo of a page and Sayfa turns it into text, picking out the passages you've underlined or highlighted.
Notes: write down what a book makes you think and feel, in your own words, as you read.
Both are saved with their book, so your reading leaves a trail you can come back to.

Plus small fixes and improvements throughout.

### 1.2 — 2026-10-02

Keep the lines you love. Photograph a page you've underlined or highlighted and Sayfa picks out the marked passages for you. Tap or drag to change the selection, fix anything misread, add the page and a note, and the quote is saved with the book.

Find your quotes again on the book's page, newest first, with a mark on the progress bar where each one sits. After you log pages, Today offers to save a quote from the day's reading.

Pages are read on your iPhone. The photo is never stored or uploaded; only the quote you save is kept, and it syncs with your account if you have one.

### 1.1 — 2026-10-01

"I have always imagined that Paradise will be a kind of library."
— Jorge Luis Borges

Sayfa 1.1 is set with a little more care.

Three cards for the moments worth keeping. Reach your goal, finish a book or keep a streak, and Share now offers a title page, a colophon or a ledger, each set like a printed page. Sayfa remembers the one you prefer, and any card can go straight to Photos.

A day, put right. A log entered on the wrong day can now be moved from Edit entry: tap the date. If the book already has pages on that day, the two are gathered into one.
