## What is Saylen?

Record or import audio and video and get clean text back, right on your iPhone. Because the transcription runs on the device, it's fast and it works with no signal.

Works without the cloud
Your recordings stay with you. No upload, no account, nothing to sign into. You can keep airplane mode on from start to finish and Saylen still works. The audio and the transcript never leave your phone — which matters when the recording is an interview, a client call, or anything you wouldn't hand to a server you don't control.

How it works

Free and Pro differ in hours, not quality. The transcript is exactly the same on both — paying gets you more time, not a better result.

A note on privacy
The on-device promise is about your content: your audio and your transcripts stay on the device and are never uploaded. The app itself uses anonymous usage stats to find what's broken and improve, but those never include your recordings.
