So much so that I had to uninstall it from my phone. Please fix so that I can order pizza 🤩🫶 ### 2/5 — Good pizza *2025-02-01, version 2.7.4* The pizza is excellent, but the app is clunky. Could be the worst food app ever. Very difficult to use. Doesn’t mess well with Apple password saver. Nothing to scan within the app for in store purchases. The Sbarro nearby is in a mall where I work, I often don’t know when I can go on break or don’t have time to place order then pick up (sometimes they run out of fountain soda). Employees don’t know how to add points when I purchase or don’t ask so I’ve missed some points. No way to add points from receipts. For example you can’t buy the 6 inch Stromboli the store has every day, you have to buy the whole 24 inch thing online. No payments work; apple pay fails, but I used to be able to use that same card but now it tells me that card info is typed wrong but I looked at every digit, it’s correct. Overall doesn’t work properly. ### 3/5 — Weird issues, nothing mission-critical *2023-12-18* From what I’ve been able to see, the menu doesn’t fully align between app and store. For example you can’t just order a Stromboli, you have to order a combo or the whole log. I know there might be small differences between locations but there’s no reason you can order a single item in store but online you have to get the combo. And Apple Pay fails every single time. No alerts to my bank where the card was declined. I can go into the store and use Apple Pay with the same card with no issue but it fails on the app. Otherwise i like it, app is good. Works as it should, easy to understand. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Promo Code not accepted *2026-07-18, version 26.42.0* Ordered online. The draw was to use a promo code and get a free slice along with the featured slice. The app would not accept the code. So that pretty much defeated the purpose of the app. Thankfully the staff at the Sbarro pizzeria in Crossgates Mall in Albany, NY were superstars, especially the kind lady manager, who honored the deal. I prefer in person ordering and service any day, and will delete your app. ### 1/5 — DoorDash Trash *2026-06-21, version 26.42.0* This is a white-labeled DoorDash app, so you get all the inherent hassles of DoorDash, like the menu saying your order will be ready in 19 minutes, then when you actually place the order it changes to 45 minutes. Fresh ingredients, well cooked, great online specials, and great service from over worked employees that never get the credit they deserve for their excellent attention to detail and continuity in getting a great pizza out of the kitchen to customers. I order about 4-5 a week at the Visalia location. If the keep specials going, they will keep me going. I am about 40 orders in for the last 6 months. It is best to just sign in as Guest if you are in a hurry, but if you are like me and buy pizza there once a month, you accrue points and coupons, so its best to create an account. The hardest thing about using the app is resetting your password. Once you figure that out, I guess you’re good. Dont rely on Microsoft/Edge to create a strong password for you, because it just wont auto fill. The only other problem I see with the app is that some pictures are not clickable. If you are trying to order a pickup, make sure you choose the nearest location of your local Sbarro first, otherwise, the Submit button will be grayed out.
