The design team should look in to user interface provided by Trading 212 which is a breeze to use. Suggest: the home page showing the total value of investment in a font size of 14. With percentage change in read or green with for. Size 8. This could be followed by a list of all stocks in one’s portfolio, followed by limit or pending orders. Each instrument and ticker symbol should be accompanied by the total values of shares owned, the number of shares owned and the percentage change from the average price. A click on an individual stock should bring up the graphs of price against time. With the ability to scroll through and the scroll should show the price on previous dates. This format for the home page would be a good start. ### 3/5 — Horrible design *2026-04-02* App font can neither be changed in app nor from ios. Extremely poor design with tiny fonts here and there and most places vacant. Also fonts are far from elegant. Difficult to believe this is SBI initiative. I would just give this a zero because I should be paid just to have this on my phone. To login today I had to change password where I never allowed the app to remember my last 6 passwords. After changing the account had to be unlocked. 2 OTPs were needed in all. Again had to use zoom to read this app. Mostly blank. The developers are forcing themselves in blindness. Also while share is selected for investment, critical good or bad reviews about such shares and recent development/ changes / news on the shares can be displayed to take a meaningful decision. But still it’s not okay. Hard to navigate what you need. And your Mutual Funds portfolio not updating. We will upgrade as per our convenience. Most of us, the older version meets our requirements and not allowing users to run the older version is just stupidity from SBI. We are NOT interested in unwanted ‘loaded features’ that SBI is trying to push to all users. It’s annoying ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Difficult navigation *2026-01-20* It’s very hard to find the history or trend of a stock or my own portfolio ### 1/5 — Frustrated with SBI Securities App – Constant Glitches and Zero Reliability *2025-08-12* I had a terrible experience using the SBI Securities app. A technical glitch caused major inconvenience — orders not executing, data not refreshing on time, and the app freezing right in the middle of market hours. This isn’t just frustrating; it can cause real financial loss. An investment platform should be stable and trustworthy, especially during trading hours, but this app clearly fails to deliver. I expected better reliability from SBI. Despite being a full-service broker charging premium fees, the quality of your offerings is abysmal. The mobile trading application is utterly substandard, plagued with technical issues, frequent crashes, and an interface that is anything but user-friendly. It is baffling how this app has received a rating of 3.8 out of 5 on the Apple App Store, as its performance does not merit even a zero-star rating. Numerous users have reported persistent technical difficulties, including constant logouts and order placement problems.  Furthermore, the brokerage fees are exorbitant compared to discount brokers who offer superior platforms and services. For instance, equity delivery is charged at 0.50%, and equity intraday at 0.05%, which is significantly higher than industry standards.  The customer service is equally disappointing. The support team lacks the necessary knowledge to assist with technical issues related to trading software, and the turnaround time for resolving queries is unacceptably long.  It is unacceptable for a reputed institution like SBI to offer such subpar services. I demand immediate and substantial improvements to your trading platforms and customer support. My friend is facing the same issue, so it’s clear that there’s a major glitch in the app. This is unacceptable for a trading platform where every minute counts. I’m losing out on market opportunities and potential profits because of this incompetence. SBI Securities needs to get their act together and fix these problems immediately. It has stop loss trigger which is not working. When we buy it says trigger should be more than LTP and vice versa for short selling. There is no trigger for exit trade. I loss lot of money during intraday trading only because could not fix stop loss. I will advise not to use this in present form. ### 1/5 — Poor app *2024-01-31* 1. There is a time lag when trading in options when recommendation reach your notification zone trade rates are already changed its like when you get the ticket the train has already left the station. 2. The commission rates are too high. Let me give you an example share is trading at 0.24 paise you get a tip that it will increase 4 folds that comes to .96 paise and their commission is 2 rs for buying and selling its even higher in case of banknifty whopping 3 rs There are other platforms which don't charge that much they charge nothing or 20 rs flat per trade like Zerodha I hope you people will look into it. **Developer response:** We regret the inconvenience caused. The ATP would be different in derivative portfolio and carry forwarded. 2. Most of the time, the price chart won’t load. 3. Order notification will come after 6-7 hours after execution (Not sure the point of notification of it comes after this much delay) 4. The charges link will show same price for delivery and emargin. In actual the charges are different. Can’t the app find the users Demat plan and show the exact charges properly? It is possible but SBI don’t want to show that. For every issue we have to send email to helpdesk and they won’t respond properly. Definitely the Worst App in Finance Category. There are so many brokers which don’t cost us and there services are so fast and sbi securities app is full of bugs and glitches they don’t show you correct data . Your support means a lot to us! ### 5/5 — Functional response issue *2025-09-22* The overall experience while using the application is very good, all other features, aspects as well as customer support is also smooth and fast but the only issue i face in using the application is that sometimes it slows down is certain responses such as showing chart realtime data or if i click the option of chart it take more than normal time to load and couple of time the app get freeze and slow specially between market timing 1:00 pm to 3:30. As a customer, it’s a request from my side to your respected tech team to also focus in this issue. As this might be sound normal but for those traders who focus on intra day who, heavily relies on immediate executions, for them it might be problematic.
