Instead we get this mess of an app that looks like it was made for the first iPhone and is unstable as it crashes every single time when it’s asks you if you want to register your Face ID. And to say, when the app first came out, I was able to use it just fine, not with all the ‘mobile’ options (for which i registered for this service) that came with it. And now since the new update, I’m not able to log back in into my SBM mobile app; it prompts me to contact the bank, which is of no help-for they tell me I’m already registered. Never works when you need it to It will kick you out for literally any reason… WiFi is enabled Data is enabled Location is enabled Time out Have to re input all the login/ password information. It’s frustrating Have to delete and reinstall constantly Have to call customer service for basic access Will not transfer/ pay your credit if the if you are any where outside of Mauritius due to different timezone No way to manually change the timezone for transactions The loading time is insanely slow and if you tap the button too fast it will assume your a bot and force kick you out of the application with not way for you to relog in you will have to delete the app reinstall and call the very bad customer for them to let you access And you will have to recharge all your pin If you do any type of payment or transfer that requires a transaction password too “often” it will force you to change the password multiple times You will lose track of how many different passwords/pin and often login information By downloading this app get ready to spend most of your time dealing with there really bad customer (everytime you have to use “banking”) Horrible human interface 10/10 would rather eat Lego ### 1/5 — Can someone open their eyes *2023-07-02, version 1.11* Such a big bank and such rubbish app!!! Although my phone is connected to wifi, the app kept saying connection status failed. Very disappointing from a bank which can’t be contacted during weekends and now my digital service doesn’t work. Well done! *2018-05-01* It has to be said that SBM strongest point was never about its internet banking service, with complicated password combinations and expiration, easy of use, and speed. The newest app update (ver 1.5) has brought it on par or at least close to its rivals and finally it’s now a service that can be used for everyday banking! Easy to use. And 1 extra star for Touch ID integration. 👍👍 ### 3/5 — Good idea but lot to improve. *2017-07-04* The app is very slow, transaction history not available thought there have been transactions for the period chosen. Including Touch ID n memorizing the userid will be gr8.. I got my European banking app its very much faster in navigating. But a good start for the beginning. Good luck.
