## What is SBM Offshore Events?

The SBM Events engagement app turns activities and content into conversations, conversations into connections and connections into collaborations, across teams, groups, and continents.

From in-person to virtual meetings or a hybrid of both, SBM Events delivers the same seamless and tailored experience to attendees.

Message, exchange digital business cards, schedule meetings, complete surveys, create personal agendas, participate in live Q&A and polling sessions, study virtual libraries and meeting information, review case studies, browse speaker and attendee profiles, follow presentations, take notes, save items for after your event, and much more.

The SBM Events app is used for selected meetings at SBM , from conferences to focused team or leadership forums.

SBM teams use SBM Events to drive ideation, gather audience response, encourage networking, team building, strategy rollouts, and education at their high-stakes events.

NOTE - You must be a registered participant with a valid email address or alternative invitation to an SBM event to use this app.

- We're excited to announce that the app now supports Apple's new Liquid Glass design system. 
- When creating a meeting in the app using the Appointments module, the date/time picker now shows a time-range based on the defined availability of the meeting location. If the “Allow custom location” option is enabled and a custom meeting location is added, there is no adjusted time range.
- Various minor adjustments to improve the user experience. This includes posting on feeds that are linked to live sessions, uploading captured lead scan images, and the “thank you for responding” text that has been made more visible in dark mode.

- To facilitate document reviews, all new comments that were added to a document by other users, since the user's last visit, are now easily identifiable in the app when returning to the document. This is only applicable to documents with public annotations enabled.
- Improved stability for refreshing agenda session and feed targeting changes in real-time.

- Updates made to support the “Prevent double bookings” functionality for sessions and meetings, when enabled.
- Changes made so the User “Representation” metadata values are now shown when selecting users for meetings in the Appointments module, and so that fields set to “Read-only” in the Appointments module cannot be edited via the app,
- Updates made to support AI-powered automatic field mapping for optical scanning (OCR) lead capture, when enabled using the Universal lead capture module.
- Adjustments made to ensure that, when the “Custom icons color (header / menu)” option is enabled in the theme editor in Backstage, the colors selected there are applied to the “Header” and “Menu” icons in the app.
- Changes made to ensure that the correct background color is fully applied to the profile header background in the app.
