Opening on enough occasions to help get through. The app has now stopped working on iOS. Continually loads when opened but you can never progress to the log in screen. Constant upgrades don’t allow you to log in, at least twice weekly, it locks me out from Touch ID so that I have to re-enter log-in details, and it is slow and buggy despite so many updates. A truly dreadful app and all of my colleagues who use it agree. Shame on Standard Chartered for bringing this omnishambles into the world. ### 1/5 — Poor user experience *2019-02-21* Can not believe such a big bank tolerates such a poorly developed app. Having that said it is also understandable, HSBC has been failing in many aspects, it is no harm to fail another time. ### 3/5 — Update *2018-03-01* Need to update to config Face ID on iPhone X ### 2/5 — Needs Face ID Support!! *2018-03-01* The app doesn't support Face ID which makes it very inconvenient on an iPhone X. To make things worse, the app does not let you paste your password into the logon field (it uses its own “secure keyboard” instead) - so if you are using a password manager with a secure complex password, you cannot simply copy and paste it to logon. Even switching between this app and the password manager app to enter the password doesn't work because the SC app will wipe the password field as soon as you switch to a different app. This means you need to have a weak password that you can remember, or have a complex password displayed somewhere else (e.g. desktop computer) so you can transpose it by typing each character into the app. At that point, you may as well log into the SC Online Banking website on a desktop computer. ### 2/5 — Very limited *2017-11-16* You can only basically view transactions, accounts and transfer money to pre-determined accounts.
