Still the worst app, can’t even reset password not login . I don’t know how this bank is surviving . Can’t even outsource work to one proper IT company. Shame on Standard Chartered . One of the worst banking experiences I ever had, not sure how this company is surviving . I am not able to make a single transaction in last 3 months as I can’t make my debit card via the app and even customer service is not able to help. My money is laying eggs in the account . Unless of course you pay for roaming and are not in a place with no cell service. SMS can’t be sent via wifi. They used to allow OTP by registered email but they canceled this route, thus making online banking via app impossible when abroad. **Developer response:** Hi, we regret to note your dissatisfaction in this regard. We wish to inform that OTP on email has been discontinued as an enhanced security measure. OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number while doing transactions. How do people use the app when there is little network coverage or if they are travelling? This is the dumbest move ever!? None of the features work as they claim. ### 1/5 — OTP is not received *2020-08-23, version 8.5.0* I am never receiving OTP for login and I couldn’t use this app ### 1/5 — Issue with one time password sent every time to login *2020-05-28* This is one of the worst feature that is implemented for rhis app. Opening the app to do some transaction and every time, i need to wait for otp to get in my mobile and then enter it and then proceed with the login. Honestly, this is very irritating every time and worst feature implemented. This is a giant time wasting exercise at the best of times, but when you’re travelling and using a different SIM it is nothing short of a pain in the ass. It’s been one year that BBPS has gone live and all other banks have migrated. I do not understand why SC bank does not want to upgrade with time. Loan approved and amount credited to a dormant account within SC bank. 3 months no support offered and I’m paying EMI and interest to avoid my credit score being tarnished. The entire support system is a joke. Speaking from my experience with some other Indian as well as international banks, this is the most user friendly and yet secure app that I have used.
