Why is that? Where is the archived coverage? And, the delish picture has been the same (the tacos in a bowl) for months and months. Why is that? I frequently find the e-edition has very little to offer in covering some local activities. I generally feel I don’t need to go to the site daily because there’s nothing to see here. I suspect you have very few writers and reporters due to budget cuts. The e-edition has been a disappointment. ### 1/5 — So much National Enquirer advertisements. *2019-08-06* How is anyone supposed to take the news seriously if it has these kind of low brow spam advertisements inserted as if they are valid? Couldn’t you find “real” local advertisers? Not that anyone want’s spam, but no real attempt to filter out nonsense has been made. Shame. ### 1/5 — . That is a nice feature. Still can't select local news. Just errors out. Only can view more news. The pop up ads are ridiculous. Every time I click on a story an ad pops up and takes over my radio due to audio. I pay for a subscription and understand image ads in middle of stories, etc. Ads with audio just annoy people and push them away. ### 3/5 — Lost points on upgrade *2016-07-22, version 4.1.1* App used to cover most of what I needed to see, but latest update went backwards. What happened to USA news? Or state news? Now your only options are Top Stories (about as much help as Facebook's option there), Local, or by city. Receive notification of breaking news, when I click on it doesn't even always bring up story. Go back to previous version please. ### 3/5 — St. Cloud Times *2016-07-10* I finally adjusted to the new gui, but have one suggestion. The death notices need to be front and center. Sometimes they can be found through a search, sometimes they don't appear for days. If there are no deaths, please say so. Everyone I’ve spoken to at sctimes has been unable to help and has forwarded this issue to someone else to no avail. ### 1/5 — This App is ridiculous. *2024-10-24* This App is ridiculous. It freezes, it jumps around, it skips pages and won’t go to a page even if I select the page individually. The paper is becoming less and less relevant, and to have to fight to read it with this App, makes it not worth subscribing to it. This App is very hard to use. I am not. Only articles besides sports are months old, or just opinion page articles. And why does it keep asking if I want to subscribe?? I already pay too much for 3 days worth of newspapers that have gotten thinner and thinner, mostly full of full page ads for walk in tubs, scooters and expensive rain gutters. What am I really paying for? Used to look to this app for breaking news on events happening in our area or state before the next issue comes out, but nothing. A huge disappointment. ### 1/5 — Can never open story content *2022-01-18* Every time I try to read a story I can’t get the actual content. It appears as though it is trying to open all of the ads. Why don’t I have an option not to see the ads since I would never purchase any of that stupid stuff anyway? I just want a quick glance at the news stories. I don’t feel like I could have missed an article when I’ve finished reading it. I don’t like the pop-up that appears when I first launch the app. It is very annoying.
