## What is SC01 Guide?

SC01 Guide is an independent research companion for understanding the exact Tesla in front of you. Learn what its VIN can reveal, explore buyer focused guides, document an inspection, and keep vehicle research and reports together in one account. The app separates available records from what still needs verification, so you can research with context instead of relying on a listing alone.

Start with the exact car

Enter or scan a VIN to identify the vehicle and review the record categories available for it. Complimentary lookups can show original configuration details, option codes, model information, and the Supercharging code stored with the VIN. Sign in to keep past searches, inspections, and reports together.

Understand the vehicle report

See what a full vehicle report contains before you run one. Report sections can include:

- Supercharging status returned for the VIN
- Battery state of health when the vehicle is eligible and a usable measurement is returned
- Autopilot and autonomy hardware
- Vehicle and factory-build details
- Battery and drive-unit warranty estimates
- Available option-code build sheet
- VIN digit breakdown

Battery state-of-health availability is limited to supported model years, and eligibility does not guarantee a usable reading.

Running a full vehicle report uses one purchased report. Reports are purchased separately.

Learn before you buy

Use educational guides to research:

- SC01 and other Supercharging codes
- Verification steps for a specific vehicle
- Large Drive Unit coolant concerns
- Autopilot hardware generations and limits
- MCU1 and MCU2 differences
- Common issues on older Model S and Model X vehicles
- Supercharger sites and ownership
- Independent repair shops
- Buying inspection checklist

Information reflects records available at the time of lookup or publication. Vehicle records, features, eligibility, and Tesla policies can change. Verify material findings with the vehicle, seller, Tesla, or a qualified service provider.

SC01 Guide is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Tesla, Inc.
