## What is Scale Ètude?

Scale Etude helps you truly learn your scales — not just memorize shapes, but hear them, spell them, and own them in every key. It's built for any instrument: everything is by ear and by note name, so it works whether you play guitar, piano, sax, or anything else.

TWO FOCUSED DRILLS

• Identify by ear — hear a scale played and name which one it is. Train your ear to recognize the sound and color of each mode.

• Build the scale — given a scale and key, tap every note that belongs. Learn the correct spelling of any scale in any of the 12 keys.

Everything uses strict music-theory spelling, so you learn scales the right way — A Phrygian is A, Bb, C, D, E, F, G (never A#), with each degree getting its proper letter name.

• A browsable library of 11 scales — the 7 modes (Ionian through Locrian), major and minor pentatonic, and major and minor blues.
