## What is Scale Relay?

Get your smart scale's weigh-ins into Garmin Connect, straight from your iPhone. Two ways in, one tap out.

APPLE HEALTH ROUTE: ANY SCALE
If your scale's app saves weight to the Health app, Scale Relay picks it up and sends it to Garmin Connect. Works with Withings, Renpho, Eufy, Etekcity, Zepp Life, Wyze, Picooc and any other app that writes weight to Apple Health. Body fat and BMI come along when your scale's app provides them.

BLUETOOTH ROUTE: XIAOMI SCALES, NO OTHER APP NEEDED
Step on a Mi Body Composition Scale 2 or a Xiaomi Body Composition Scale S400 and Scale Relay reads the measurement directly: weight, body fat, muscle mass, bone mass, water, BMI and BMR. The S400 needs a one-time authorization with your Xiaomi account.

WHAT YOU GET
• A preview of every weigh-in before it is sent; nothing leaves without your tap
• Body composition in Garmin Connect, not just the weight
• Weigh-ins from the last 7 days are included; Garmin Sync unlocks older history
• One Garmin sign-in, two-factor authentication supported
• A "Sent to Garmin" list so you know what arrived

FREE TO TRY
Your first two syncs are free on either route. Unlimited syncing is a single one-time purchase called Garmin Sync. No subscription.

PRIVACY FIRST
Your measurements stay on your iPhone and go only to your own Garmin account. No Scale Relay account, no tracking, no ads.

REQUIREMENTS
• iOS 17 or later
• A Garmin Connect account
• Apple Health route: any scale app that writes weight to the Health app
• Bluetooth route: Mi Body Composition Scale 2 or Xiaomi Body Composition Scale S400

Scale Relay is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with Garmin, Xiaomi, Withings, Renpho, Eufy, Etekcity, Zepp, Wyze, Picooc or any other scale or fitness-platform maker. Product names are trademarks of their respective owners.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.1 — 2026-09-20

Improved sign-in reliability and session recovery during temporary connection issues.

Since 1.3, weigh-ins that your scale's app saves to Apple Health can be sent to Garmin Connect too, whatever scale you use. Your first two syncs are free.

### 1.3.0 — 2026-09-12

Scale Relay 1.3 adds a second way in: Apple Health. If your scale's app saves weigh-ins to the Health app, Scale Relay can now pick them up and send them to Garmin Connect, whatever brand the scale is.
• New Health tab: connect Apple Health and your Garmin account, review new weigh-ins and send them with one tap
• Weigh-ins from the last 7 days are included; Garmin Sync unlocks older history
• Weight, body fat and BMI are carried over when your scale's app provides them
• Scale and Health now live on two tabs; your Bluetooth scale works exactly as before
• Clearer guidance when Health access is switched off, larger buttons and text
Two free syncs let you try either route before purchasing.

### 1.2.5 — 2026-09-01

Try Scale Relay before purchasing with two free Garmin uploads. This update also improves purchase restoration and makes the review prompt more reliable.

### 1.2.4 — 2026-08-26

Improved scale setup and sign-in reliability. Fixed an issue where the account sign-in page could display an error instead of loading correctly. General stability improvements.

### 1.2.3 — 2026-08-25

Fixes Xiaomi Body Composition Scale S400 sign-in and pairing. Also improves measurement reliability for Mi Body Composition Scale 2.
