## What is Scam Tester?

Got a text about an unpaid toll, a missed package or a locked account? A strange call from "your bank"? Before you tap, pay or share anything, check it with Scam Tester.

Paste the message and get a clear Scam Score from 0 to 100: Looks normal, Be careful or Likely scam. Every warning sign is named in plain words, with one line on what to do next.

WHAT IT LOOKS FOR
• Links that pretend to be a real company, look-alike letters and addresses like "paypal.com.something.net"
• Unpaid toll, missed delivery, locked account and fraud alert stories
• Deadlines, threats and pressure to act right now
• Requests for gift cards, verification codes, passwords or card details
• Payment by Zelle, wire, crypto or gift card
• Quiet openers like "Are you available? I'm in a meeting", flagged before they ask for anything
• Job, investment, romance, prize and fake-charity scams
• Fake senders in emails, like "PayPal" writing from someone else's address
• Scams from around the world: hundreds of banks, posts, tax offices and wallets in the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India, Singapore, the Philippines, South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, the Gulf, Europe and Latin America, each checked against its real website

CHECK A PHONE CALL
No app can listen to a call, so Scam Tester asks instead. After you hang up, answer a few quick questions: who they said they were, what they asked for and how they acted. You get the same clear score and what to do next.

CHECK IT YOUR WAY
• Paste a text, email or link
• Choose a screenshot or take a photo of a letter or another screen
• Scan a QR code: the link is checked, never opened
• Share from Safari, Mail or any screenshot: choose Check with Scam Tester
• Ask Siri, or use Check for Scam in Shortcuts
• Share the result with family as a picture, without the message

YOUR MESSAGES STAY ON YOUR PHONE
Everything is checked on your iPhone. Nothing you check is ever sent anywhere, not to us and not to the ad network. Your recent checks are kept only on your phone, and you can clear them any time. No account, no sign-in.

Scam Tester gives a second opinion, not a guarantee. When in doubt, contact the company yourself using a number or website you already trust.
