Now, after the latest updates, I think it is time to find another app for making scans. How can the developer remove the facility of naming a document using spaces? As an example this means I must write the name from a business card without spaces. How to sort in an efficient way? I used to send some of the scans to my note program, but now I must first send it to the computer, rename it, and then send again. In the description with the latest update, we were informed that now the scans from previous versions were adopted by the new version. Not for me, as I had taken the previous update. ### 4/5 — Sensational! *2010-10-09, version 0* Look guys this app is like having a scanner in your pocket. If you want an app that turns text on a photo to text this app is not for you. If you want to scan documents as you would with a scanner/printer this app is amazing. You just take a photo of your doc it adjusts the color and everything automatically. Then you cam email it off or do what you want with the scanned doc. It blows up the image in a monster size. It works exactly as I want it to. I just love this personal pocket scanner. ### 3/5 — Not great *2010-08-21, version 0* Easy to handle but pictures very dark. No contrast. So cannot get a clearer image. ### 4/5 — Pretty cool app *2010-01-14, version 0* Now I can create a PDF with many pictures. Currently iPhone only allows you to send 1 picture at a time via email. This app allows you to send many pictures in a PDF file. Worth the $6.99!!!! ### 3/5 — Very useful application *2009-09-18, version 0* I bought this application on a whim - but it's really very good. It will convert exisiting photos to multi-page PDFs, or capture new photos for conversion. The interface is very plain but works well. There are limited options - you can't do anything with the images before you convert them. For example there's no cropping, straightening, contrast enhancement features which would all be nice (you could use a 3rd party application like Photogene). But the converted PDFs are good quality and the application works quite smoothly. It will depend on your images but the PDF works out about 100KB / page. It would also be nice to have some quality settings for the resulting PDF's and if if the application could make searchable PDFs even better! Oh and why not add business card support - scan a business card and import as a contact ;)! Hope the next revision brings some more features. It wouldn't take much to make it a 5* application in my view. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Update!!! Even though it is a good app, it has a major flaw. Where that flaw can be worked on, I believe it should qualify for a 5 star. The flaw is as follows where you have 2 or more documents which a numbered. You decide to send out a document numbered 5. I have noticed that when you select number 5 the app sends out number 1 instead. Which is very embarrassing. Hence it is a good app if you only have 1 document and send out only that document. Perfect OCR app strips the text into email, txt file, PDF. 80% accuracy for me Scan2pdf did pictures coloured better. But rarely need this as camera app is much better for that. Scan2pdf Two issues - doesn't let enough light in even in well lighted place. The app is easy to use and does a good job. The only thing I would like it to do (that it doesn't at the moment) is to be able to grab photos from the camera roll (taken earlier) and attach them to a new pdf being created.
