Bad at extracting information from them. There is some manual correction needed for every card. The picture overlays the field you try to edit and it’s a freaking nightmare to edit the info. According to Grok, this has been an issue for over 10 years. I can do that for free with my camera. I paid $.99 for this app and it only scans and transcribes two cards before you run out of credits and have to buy more. Why would I only want to scan two business cards per month? If I still have to manually type in all the information myself, why would I need this app? The OCR was far from being perfect but acceptable. Then subscription feature appears. My god. OCR works like hell. Croping tool is so hard to use. When you manually enter a phone number it’s ompossible to put dots or dashes. Hard time to return to normal views after using the magnifying glass. It’s not hard to find a better apps then that. When it first came out, there were minor issues, especially with OCR, but the developers were actively interested in learning about those issues so they could improve their product. They have actively and continuously engaged with their users to refine their product, and now, they have one of the best business card scanner — eRoladex — I have ever seen! Having been a user over the past few years, I have definitely seen this app evolve into one of the most powerful and useful tools on my iPhone. I chose to pay for this one, it was a one time fee.Was able to store all my business cards of doctors, labs, mechanics, Plummer, Hvac, insurance cards, and other important info. Then after years of having it. Then it shut down, couldn’t go on it. When I clicked on it, it showed for a brief second and went out. After several day later of trying it came up only to find all my info was gone as if I was a new customer. Messaged tech support and they keep responding with a blanket e-mail we will get in contact with you soon. Will have to find another similar app. Great idea not reliable. After several e-mails and this original 1 star review they contacted me by phone. All my cards were deleted somehow but they offered me a human translation option of them scanning my card for memory of up to 125 cards for free for my inconvenience. Had to rescan my cards and info over but hopefully now up to 125 are saved. Thank you for being concerned to restoring me as your customer. Will continue to use this app frequently.
