The Scandit Keyboard Wedge is an iPhone keyboard with a built-in barcode scanner. It gives you the power to perform enterprise-grade barcode scanning with iPhones, iPads, and iPods and deliver data to existing iOS apps with no need for integration or modifications.

This is a great product. Scans quickly and efficiently. The only downside is that it picks up barcodes TOO quickly so you simply have to be careful to separate barcodes.

However, this company goes through great lengths to never mention a price. The minimum required purchase makes this app a waste of time. It doesn’t matter if this is the best app in the world if the company I work for is not going to approve the cost.

The app performs good, but I contacted the developer to but it for good but the only sell it in bulks of 50 for US$3000 ... ridiculous expensive for just a barcode scanner... the developer should have another sales strategy because the app is good but not for 3k

I downloaded The App to allow scanning directly into our MRP system running on a terminal server as a remote session on my personal iPad 10.3 iOS v11.2.  Did save time accurately entering part number detail into the appropriate field avoiding key entry errors.  The App is fast and accurate. The camera is a little too hot and will capture any barcode in its wide field of view but you can get used to it by covering up barcodes that are near.  It’s clear they spent a lot of time developing the App for speed and accuracy. As a keyboard wedge selecting the scanner uses the usual iOS Keyboard “Globe” symbol to quickly change keyboards.

For some reason the App is boutique priced on subscription minimum 50 annual licenses for $2,999.  This must be part of a larger corporate solution. Nice App wrong audience.

Cette App vous permet d'ajouter un clavier à celui de l'iphone ou Ipad, clavier ayant la particularite d avoir un racourci pour acces à l'appareil photo de l'iphone pour scanner des codes barres (EAN 13 par exemple) et de saisir ainsi via le scan le contenu du code barre (13 chiffres pour l'exemple du EAN13) directement sans avoir a le saisir. Cette fonctionalite est possible dans un texto, un mail, une note, et surtout un tableur (excel/number...). cela fait comme une douchette de code barre bluetooth en mode HID. Si vous ne possedez pas, ou n'avez pas de douchette a portee de main, cette app peut vous rendre bien des services, gain de temps, et d'erreurs de saisie reduites pour celui qui peut dans le cadre de son travail, ou meme pour un usage personnel (liste de courses, inventaires de ses disques, livres...)
J'ai recherche par hasard un moyen de pouvoir utiliser l objectif de l iphone pour "scanner un code barre" et envoyer la saisie directement dans une cellule de ma feuille excel.
Il fallait y penser, et cette app repond parfaitement à cet usage pour celui qui ne dispose pas d une douchette bluetooht et qui souhaite scanner des codes barres et traiter ainsi les scans. cela me fait economiser du temps. auparavant, je flashais les codes barres depuis une autre application. je faisais un export/import CSV par mail et je devais mettre en forme avant de copier coller ces derniers dans ma feuille Excel pour analyse et traitement. Travail en interim, je flash les produits receptionnes pour savoir lesquels sont reserves en livraison. 👍
Tres bonne idée, je conseille.
