## What is Scandu?

Set up your own daily and weekly routines such as "Morning" and "Bedtime".  Scandu will alert you if you are running late.  

Create tasks for each routine such as eating, showering or taking medication.

Mark tasks complete quickly and easily right from the lock screen by scanning tags or QR codes you create yourself.  Scandu motivates you to get moving!

Scandu will alert you if you are running out of time to complete all of your tasks or if you do not leave or arrive on time.

Unlike most reminder apps, Scandu is designed for users who need more prompting or are easily distracted, so it will alert you every five minutes when you are running late.

Automatically send notifications to your caregiver so that they know if you are running late.

Includes a rewards tracking system, so that caregivers can track and reward progress.

Scandu is a free trial, paid subscription app.  Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and will automatically renew (at the duration/price selected) unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hrs before the end of the current period.  Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period.  Current subscription may not be cancelled during the active subscription period; however, you can manage your subscription and/or turn off auto-renewal by visiting your iTunes Account Settings after purchase.  Any unused portion of the free initial period selected will be forfeited when you purchases a subscription.  Scandu is provided as "Software as a Service" with cloud services.

I downloaded this app to help my 14 year old son who has ASC and ADHD who struggles with executive functioning. He knows what tasks he needs to do but finds it impossible to organise himself. I told him a little white lie and said the App developer had asked us to trial it. Initially he wasn’t keen, but tonight we’ve just managed a second bedtime where he has independently made his supper, showered, tidied up, sorted his clothes and brushed his teeth. All that without a single reminder or prompt from me. That is transformational for him and he’s thrilled with the independence. 

My son told me tonight he wants to carry on using the App, he doesn’t want it to be a few day trial. Happy son and so happy mum 🙂 Thank you 🙏🏻

I just downloaded the app and already printed out a QR code.  It was supper easy to do.  Now I have one of those little square digital things my son can take a pic of with his phone.  I am putting it next to his sink so I will know he was at least in the bathroom when he was supposed to be brushing his teeth.
