Regarding the small paper size of the scans after sending, I'd like to share that Scanner Pro now uses an algorithm that automatically detects the proportions of each document and assigns the closest matching paper size on its own. However, you still have the option to manually set the paper size for the document for export or printing purposes. Here’s how: 1. Open Scanner Pro. 2. Tap any scan you’d like to change the page size for. 3. Tap 4. “Edit” at the bottom menu. 5. In the Edit screen, select the second “Page Size” icon. 6. Select the size you need and tap “Done” to save the changes. This just puts “scanner pro” in diagonal lines all over your document. Useless. ### 1/5 — Not happy with latest update *2026-08-26* Since the last update my pages no longer scan the same size. Even though they are the same size. Which to be honest would happen occasionally prior to update. Difference now is when I then manually set them all to letter size they no longer all end up the same size. They don’t change at all from the scanned size. This is very frustrating, my scans are no longer clean and tidy. Please fix. Still waiting on a fix. When you go to edit to size the sheets you can have the option to select all types of different sizes (letter, legal, receipt, a3, a5, etc) but no matter what you select the size doesn’t change. It still remains the same size you scanned it at. I scan documents to send to customers along with their invoices. I use to be able to make it so everything was the same size & looked professional. Now it’s all different sizes and looks awful. Not sure what that last update did but it ruined everything! Developer response appreciated but still not happy, does not bring me peace of mind. I like to be able to see in the app (like we use to) that all my pages are the same size. If I can’t see it before hand I can’t trust it. Also, now I have to actually edit each page and make sure they are all set to the same size because sometimes they may look it but one might be letter another might be receipt. There is no way to set them all together to the same size so it is taking me more time to do my job. Also, once I received your response I checked a couple pdfs that I sent to myself to see if they were indeed at least the same size on that end and a couple of the documents were all skewed. So I had to go back in to the app re-edit and resend. Then they were fine. AI doesn’t always make things better, some things are better the way they were. **Developer response:** Hello there! I'd like to share that the paper size detected by the AI or selected by you (Edit > Page Size) is applied specifically to your exported or printed PDFs, meaning that the file won't visually change within the app itself. Looking for a good scanning app if anyone has a recommendation? This used to be a great app - now it take 3 to 4 minutes just to load - then it won’t scan until you “clean the lens”. Every time!!! It was my go to to scan in any documents on the go to save receipts and to easily export edit and modify the scan all within the app was amazing. Now simply trying to scan in a receipt, my phone takes the photo, the thumbnail shows up in the bottom right hand corner-but the counter stays at zero. It then freezes I am unable to see any of my older documents as I can’t leave that screen. So, anything that I’ve recently worked on or anything I’d like to do is locked up. The app completely locks up. I have to force quit, and when I reopen the application it’s the same merry-go-round. Please fix this I would hate to lose my documents, or have to find something else. ### 1/5 — Used to be Awesome *2026-08-20, version 8.38.1* This app used to be great! Simple to use, scanned docs and let you save them in the app, export as needed. Now, since I’ve had to restart my phone, I had to update to the latest version, which doesn’t let you export unless you have the $10/Week subscription! Insane! This is SO unbelievably disappointing. It has consistently produced sharp, accurate images for me for many years now. It just keeps getting better. I even had the assistant at my doctor’s office make a comment to me about the images of both sides of my health insurance card that I uploaded to their patient portal. She said, “Wow. That’s probably some of the clearest pictures of an insurance card anyone has ever sent to me.” I said, “I used an app on my phone called Scanner Pro to do it. It makes everything super-sharp and clear. You should try it. It’s awesome!” So, just know that Scanner Pro is so good that you have longtime customers out here spreading the gospel for you!
