## Newest reviews (10 of 52)

### 1/5 — Without question, the worst app I’ve ever used

*2023-02-19, version 2.0*

The scanner did not work. The instructions were nonexistent.

### 4/5 — Needs a tweak

*2022-11-01, version 2.0*

You’d expect this app to open the camera app but it doesn’t. You need to hold the hologram on your chronometer card in front of the lens on your phone and then it works. Quite interesting to see the METAS test results for your specific watch.
It should be noted that this only applies to master chronometer watches though so will only work if the watch has been put through the METAS tests.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work waste of time

*2022-05-06, version 2.0*

It doesn’t activate the camera even though you grant it permission to scan the barcode on the card pity you’d expect a luxury brand watch company would keep up on these things

### 1/5 — Scan doesn’t work

*2022-03-09, version 2.0*

I placed my Omega Master Chronometer Card in front of the camera but the camera function doesn’t work. The developer needs to fix this bug issue.

### 1/5 — Omega scanning card

*2021-12-21, version 2.0*

Yep doesn’t work 😂

### 1/5 — The app won’t scan.

*2021-05-27, version 2.0*

The app won’t work

### 5/5 — Works, don’t listen to bad reviews

*2021-04-30, version 2.0*

This app is small but works exactly at what it’s targeted: give you the METAS results of your own watch. With the NFC update no one should have an issue:
1) Make sure you have an Omega account already. You can go online to make one
2) Scan your METAS card by getting it near your iPhone’s camera (kind of like a tap). It should instantly “read” it
3) Log in and your METAS results should be visible and you can text/email them.

Simple as that. It works at what it is intended to 👏🏽

### 5/5 — Works great

*2021-04-15, version 2.0*

Very easy to use & intuitive. Ignore the 1 stars.

### 5/5 — Excellent - Enables you to view/download Master Chronometer Certificate

*2021-02-11, version 2.0*

Does exactly what it says it does *for Master Chronometer only* does not work (and does not claim to work) for other Omega Chronometers (possibly hence some of the other less positive reviews).

Enabled me to view & download my Master Chronometer certificates, which is useful/interesting if you’re interested in watch tech & helpful info if you are buying/selling a watch.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2020-11-06, version 2.0*

It scanned my card but wouldn’t give me the results without an account. I spent thousands on the watch and Omega wants me to reveal private information just to get test results on the watch that I paid for.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Terrible!!!

*2025-09-30, version 2.0*

The camera doesn’t turn on at all to scan anything!! I downloaded the app on two separate phones and the app doesn’t work on either of them!!

### 1/5 — Useless

*2025-08-29, version 2.0*

The app does not work. The screen comes up to scan card but nothing happens.

### 1/5 — Great disappointment

*2025-06-01, version 2.0*

On the iPad camera is inverted and does not accept tap. On the phone it does not access omega database and has no support for face unlock.

### 1/5 — No scanning

*2025-04-09, version 2.0*

Downloaded the app, pressed the button to scan, put the card on camera as requested and nothing happens. Useless

### 1/5 — Non-functioning

*2025-03-23, version 2.0*

I own a couple of Omega watches so thought I’d download this to catalogue them. The app won’t scan & therefore doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — Scanning doesn’t work!

*2025-01-03, version 2.0*

Useless app if it can’t even open the camera. Stuck on the prompt screen.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2024-08-30, version 2.0*

First screen shows a button to “scan your card” but absolutely nothing happens when I tap it

### 1/5 — Useless

*2024-08-04, version 2.0*

Shame on you Omega! Your App is Useless! You should fix it, or take it down!

### 1/5 — Junk app.

*2024-01-30, version 2.0*

Deleted about 30 seconds after trying - doesnt work. Dont waste your “time”!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work. Don’t bother.

*2023-04-12, version 2.0*

Simply doesn’t work.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Works as Intended

*2026-07-22, version 2.0.2*

I was surprised to see such low ratings for this app. All you do is hold your card up to the camera and it immediately pulls up your certification. I had no issues. It is a very simple app, but works exactly as intended.

### 5/5 — It works

*2025-10-14, version 2.0*

Only those who have low iq won’t get it to work

### 5/5 — Works perfectly

*2024-11-23, version 2.0*

The scanner uses NFC to scan your Master Chronometer card and if you have an Omega account, it brings up the watch scanned plus any others you’ve added to your account. All details
On each watch are available to view, including original test results.
Works as expected and very interesting.

### 5/5 — It uses NFC

*2024-10-20, version 2.0*

It uses nfc not the camera. Working as expected.

### 5/5 — Works perfect

*2024-09-24, version 2.0*

If you buy an Omega with Metas certification, this allows you to get the full specs and test results of your watch. You can save it as a pdf file. Love it. Your watch will come with a NFC card for you to scan.

### 5/5 — Works perfectly

*2022-07-31, version 2.0*

Not really sure what others are whining about saying it don’t work when scanning the Master Chronometer card because I’ve not had any problem at all, and I’ve had 4 different Omega’s during the 3 years I’ve been using this app now.
As for the melt piping up about needing to have an account to access your watch’s test results, what’s the problem? Anyone would think you’ve got something to hide, maybe your Omega was chored or something?

### 5/5 — App

*2022-07-02, version 2.0*

This app uses NFC not the camera. The app is extremely good. If you use it correctly

### 5/5 — Worked

*2022-05-02, version 2.0*

Login with your account and you can see the info of your watch. You might have to scan again, if the website didn’t pull your info up the first time.

### 5/5 — Works fine

*2022-01-19, version 2.0*

Simply tap the main camera lens against the hologram.. You will then need to log in or create account. You can then view the detailed test results specific to your own watch.

### 5/5 — It works!

*2021-10-04, version 2.0*

Just put your phone near the card ad if you’re using Apple Pay.
All the info popped up for my new Railmaster.
