What's up with that and what's the restore button do at the upper right of screen. Is that what gets rid of that screen? This is why I hate updates. Tapping Restore reactivates any past upgrades and removes the prompt. Still no progress still no further ahead still no explanation still no AI tool to help you when you get stuck hopeless ridiculous waste of time. To scan, open the Scan tab, align your document, tap the shutter or let auto-capture grab it, then tap Done to save as a PDF. For faxing you’ll need Fax.Plus. If you need more help, reach out at support@alohi.com. ### 1/5 — Update changed everything. *2026-03-11, version 6.0* It worked perfect before the update. Now it won’t let me in the app with asking me to purchase a subscription. Funny that the app claims it is for free. Remove the wording before getting sued for false advertisement. ### 1/5 — Constant Annoyance *2026-01-25, version 5.4* As of mid December this app is almost impossible to use. It no longer backs up to my cloud and has constant sign into google prompts. Enough to where I try to reset and reconnect it won’t even allow me to do that. Fix the app, completely broken ### 1/5 — Beta version has limits *2026-01-20* I’ve been using this app for a while. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a better app for converting a scanned image into text. Today I reached a problem. The app told me that I’m using a beta version and it will no longer convert the image to text until next month. I cannot find a way to purchase the app. Everything in the Apple Store description of this app says that it is completely free. It never says anything about limitations like this. **Developer response:** Hi, Scan.Plus is fully free on mobile and uses monthly AI credits for OCR. We’ve recently increased the usage limits, so you can now convert more images than before. Your credits renew every 7 days, allowing you to continue image-to-text conversion regularly. Now that does NOT work for me or my employer! I need what I scan and the order to be exactly as I ordered them bet the apps keep rearranging and changing it! Legally I’m bound to provide accurate and correct work logs. This combo is making my life difficult. The fax app without the addition of the scan app was genius. I pay for that. But I could scan with in the fax app. Now I can’t. I may cancel my subscription. I’ve been using this app for a while. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a better app for storing images and converting a scanned image into text. Even if the page is not totally flat, the AI is still able to convert the image to text accurately. The only thing I would add to my review, is that it would be good to be able purchase unlimited, or more, AI credits, and it would be good if this was a one time purchase, not a subscription. **Developer response:** Hi, Scan.Plus is fully free on mobile and uses monthly AI credits for OCR.
