Some days on reports I have to delete hundreds of devices 1 by 1 and it takes a lot of time ### 3/5 — Scanning Barcodes Upside Down *2022-11-08, version 2.38* Removing this feature so you can no longer scan the bar code upside down is the dumbest thing you could do. This would allow you to set the building header for an entire build but instead you are forced to click through every single scan and change each line. - Need the ability to change fields to Taylor the BR to the individual business. ### 4/5 — App works great except.... *2018-05-25, version 2.21* Bring back the ability to open the scanning feature with the volume button, app was working great for me that way now when I push the button the app crashes all the time makes doing an inspection a lot more difficult since I have to constantly restart the app every time I push the button to scan. ### 3/5 — Scan Series Evolving *2018-01-07, version 2.19* We’ve used Building Reports for 10 years. It was great when BR put out Apps for iPhone for Inspections (Scan Series) and for access to reports on (BR Mobile). With the functionality of the iPhone it well outperformed the old PDA. The software could be greatly improved by allowing inspectors to customize fields to be able tailor their Inspections providing more accurate reports. We can integrate the iPhone’s camera, touch screen, dictation during Inspections. The basic template does a lot but there’s room for future development. You can download and upload inspections on the fly, allowing quick and easy inspections. The data-entering interface is easy. Bring back upside down barcode recognition. Why does it freeze and become unresponsive every time I open the camera? Fix your app. Unacceptable. ### 1/5 — Newest Update brings issues *2022-10-07, version 2.38* The newest update dramatically slows down the app and makes it glitchy. You can also no longer scan barcodes upside down, which makes it a hassle in certain circumstances. Also the BR Mobile function only works for a few hours, then I have to delete the app and reinstall to get it back. ### 1/5 — Broken *2022-03-11, version 2.34* The new update has broken the butting layout in BRForms. Every time I enter data in a field, the next button and back button get hidden. The only way to get to the next item is to go back to the main list. Makes filling out the form take 3x the tapping. Tap the item, fill it out, exit, go to next item. Painful. ### 1/5 — Need alerts!! *2019-09-11, version 2.26* This is used for inspections yet you can’t set alerts. Seems like a simple implementation. ### 1/5 — It used to be great *2019-04-05, version 2.25* These guys used to be the best, but then they started disabling features and treating customers like garbage. Leaving BR was the best move we’ve made. ### 1/5 — Crashing *2018-04-30, version 2.19* Application is crashing need to be update ### 2/5 — Fire Inspections IOS *2026-01-20, version 2.41.3* Camera has a horrible time audio adjusting after the first few scans which usually can only be fixed by closing and relaunching the app on IOS, works well with android but not having the ability to focus on a bar code while testing 400+ devices in one sitting as a Fire Inspector gets old quick. ### 2/5 — Constantly crashes *2019-12-18, version 2.29* This app constantly crashes! (Yes, I’ve updated to latest version) It keeps crashing and exiting out of the app after a few scans. Used it for an hour today and it’s crashed over 10 times. ### 3/5 — iPhone app issues *2025-04-17, version 2.39.9* Not a horrible app. As of recently, I cannot update the manufacturing date for batteries. We have it linked so the fire department can come and check the last time we were there and inspected the building. I am sure many customers how to use the QR code. They are quite satisfied with it. I depend on building reports when I’m doing repairs. As repairs are done, I changed early reports from a fail device to a satisfactory device. Uploaded the cloud and everything is good. Keep up the great work love building reports ### 5/5 — Much Better *2023-06-22, version 2.38* So much faster and easier! ### 5/5 — Perfect App for Fire & Life Safety Inspections *2022-06-30, version 2.35* ScanSeries is very user friendly and includes everything I need to perform fire and life safety inspections. The layout is simple, easy to learn, yet extremely comprehensive. The inspection itself on any smart device is straightforward. The barcodes make sure that you never miss a device and give you lots of device detail. Once uploaded, the reports that are created comply with NFPA standards, as well as The Joint Commission and other healthcare accreditors. The whole process is seem less. I would highly recommend this app to anyone looking to perform fire and life safety inspections. ### 5/5 — Great to work with *2022-06-27, version 2.35* I’ve been using BR for years and it has not only changed how I work, but it has changed the industry for the better. ### 5/5 — Newest update *2020-12-03, version 2.30* Like the new changes, but starts freezing up. Especially when you use the camera scan button on bottom. Hopefully that can be fixed soon.
