Would be 5 star if scanner can remember to reconnect to different wifi networks. Ich finde keine Möglichkeit, ein Profil zu kopieren (Einstellungej für eine Cloud kopieren für eine andere Cloud). Ich finde kein „Scan to NAS“. Oder finde nur ich das nicht? ### 2/5 — Instabil *2026-04-30* Ix1600 lief bis zum Update einwandfrei - jetzt funktioniert er nur wie ein Blinker mit dem Handy - „ geht - geht nicht - geht „ das ist sehr enttäuschend - vermutlich echt ein Beispiel für verschlimmbessert 🤷🏼‍♂️ muss jedes Mal neu initialisiert werden, dann mit etwas Glück und vielfachem an und ausschalten geht er mal - wenn es funktioniert, ist es gut. Aber so werde ich wohl mal bei den Mitbewerbern vorbeischauen … da habe ich keine Lust zu …jedesmal vor einem Scanvorgang das Handy neu zu initialisieren .. ### 2/5 — Horrible documentation and almost horrible Program *2026-04-07* This doesn’t have to be this complicated and this buggy full of bugs. Some stuff works some stuff doesn’t if you have scans from the previous app good luck being able to see all of them or some of them. This is ready ridiculous. Can’t get two users on the same computer using this and sharing the same storage sub directory for the scans. Compact & quiet too. Makes your scanning chore fast, easy. Love it after scanning just 3 folders of documents. Suggestion: there must be a way to add documents to an already-scanned file—bc if you have different sized pages, or you exceed the pages fittable in the ADF, you end up w/documents in separate files when you wanted them all in 1 file. Complaint: ScanSnap shop on Amazon said the device has a USB port so you could scan directly to a thumb drive. Not so. There is an old fashioned plug in-cord-to usb end. There goes my ‘scan plan’-I just bought 10 thumbdrives for storage bc do not want to use the Cloud or store all these scans on my devices. Nun aber: Dünnes Papier - schwierig. Dickeres Papier - schwierig. Briefe, die ordentlich entfaltet wurden: praktisch unmöglich. Mehrere Seiten: verkrumpeln im Einzug. Meine Lösung ist momentan dann, die Seiten in einem Affenzahn hinterherzuschieben. Versage ich, kann man wieder von vorne anfangen. Ich kann mir die Papierdicke meiner Briefe nicht aussuchen und wir reden hier auch nicht von Luftpostbriefpapier. So now cannot even use the scanner from my phone anymore. It has now become a useless giant paperweight. ### 1/5 — Intentionally removing functionality *2026-02-08, version 2.3.0* This garbage app intentionally doesn’t support any prior scanner they have produced but then they go ahead and remove “ScanSnap Connect” from the App Store which is needed to access scanners like the ix500. ScanSnap connect still works and if you purchased it in the past, go find it in your purchased apps to redownload. Seems to be a minimum requirement for iPad. A year later and still no landscape. Very stupid developer!!!!! I suggest you stay with the old app although now they say it will not be supported after Oct 25. This seems to work ok if you only connect directly. A year ago I tried to connect through hotel Wi-Fi and the result was a completely bricked ScanSnap, had to wait until I got home to reset everything. And, again — no landscape mode? Z.B. auf meiner NAS. Noch besser: auf einem optionalen USB-stick. Punkt. Nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Das Angebot, meine scans per Cloud ScanSnap zur Verfügung zu stellen, mag manche anregen, mich jedoch nicht. Viel unnützes Zeugs, nur die einfachsten Dinge werden nicht geliefert. Beispiel: Scans aus dem scansnap-Ordner nach Speichern woanders im scansnap-Ordner löschen. Geht nicht, eine Datei muss drin bleiben :-0 Leute! Wir haben 2025! I love the fact I can come home with receipts or items I want to store and just open the scanner and go, the files go straight to my Dropbox or other designated place of storage - Job done. ### 5/5 — schon toll *2026-07-14* Hab den neuen scan snap iX 2500 und bin sehr zufrieden. The portable iX100 scanner does a great job of producing high quality images quickly. But the previous app often had difficulty connecting with the scanner. That has been resolved with this version.
