## What is Scantru?

Scantru decodes food labels so you don't have to.

Scan a barcode, photograph an ingredient list, or type it in - Scantru instantly analyses every ingredient and gives you a clear, colour-coded safety score from 0 to 100. Every warning cites its source (FDA, EFSA, FSSAI, WHO), so you get facts, not fear.

Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
THREE WAYS TO SCAN

• Scan a barcode - looks up products from a database of 3 million+ items
• Photo of the label - point your camera at the ingredients panel and let OCR do the rest
• Type or paste - enter ingredients manually when a label isn't handy

PERSONALISED SAFETY SCORES

The same product can mean different things to different people. Set up your health profile - allergies, conditions like diabetes or hypertension, vegetarian preference - and Scantru adjusts every score to you.

• 14 allergens detected (peanut, milk, soy, gluten, and more)
• 6 health conditions supported (Diabetes T2, Hypertension, Pregnancy, PCOS, Kidney Disease, Child)
• Vegetarian and artificial sweetener flags
• Country-specific regulatory checks for India, US, EU, UK, Canada, and Japan

TRANSPARENT, NOT TERRIFYING

We believe in informing, not alarming. Every flagged ingredient shows:
• Why it was flagged and the evidence level
• Which regulatory body assessed it, and when
• Its status in your specific country

No vague "toxic" labels. No scare tactics. Just sourced, dated facts you can verify yourself.

WHAT YOU GET

• 6,000+ ingredient database with E-number and INS code decoding
• Nutrition snapshot - sugar, sodium, saturated fat, and energy at a glance
• NOVA food processing classification
• Full score breakdown so you see exactly how the score was calculated
