## What is ScanVeriX?

ScanVeriX scans QR codes and barcodes, checks food against your family's intolerances, and warns about suspicious links. Everything stays 100 % local — no account, no tracking, no cloud.

WHAT ScanVeriX DOES

Scanning
• All common formats: QR, EAN, UPC, Code128, PDF417, Aztec, Data Matrix
• Live detection with multi-scan, even for small or damaged codes
• Bulk scanning for multiple products in a row
• Automatically detects Wi-Fi codes, business cards, URLs, and EPC-SEPA payment codes

Generating
• Create QR codes, Code128, PDF417, or Aztec from your own text
• Wi-Fi, vCard, and SEPA codes via wizard
• Share directly or export as PDF/PNG — all rendered locally

Family Allergen Check (Pro)
• Profiles with intolerances per family member: EU-14 (gluten, milk, nuts, …), extended allergens (histamine, yeast, pork, …), and your own keywords
• Severity levels „avoid" and „life-threatening" per allergen
• Automatic comparison when scanning food, green/yellow/red per member
• Family aggregate in bulk-scan view
• Profiles stay strictly local — never synced to iCloud, even with Pro

Product Lookup (Pro)
• Name, brand, ingredients, allergens, nutrition facts from the Open Facts databases (Food, Beauty, Pet Food, Products)
• Only the barcode is transmitted — no personal data
• If the database doesn't know a product: scan ingredient lists with photo OCR, fully on-device

Privacy Browser (Pro)
• Run suspicious links through a security check first (Quishing heuristics)
• Open them in an isolated browser with tracker-blocking and separate cookies
• Optional: route all links through the Privacy Browser

EPC-SEPA Wizard (Pro)
• Detect GiroCodes and hand them off to your banking app
• Generate EPC-compliant SEPA codes yourself
