## What is ScanWrench?

ScanWrench records what your vehicle actually reported - sixteen checks in one connected session with your own compatible OBD adapter, closed with a cryptographic receipt another phone can verify offline. Every finding is labeled measured, compared, inferred, or unavailable. Nothing is invented.

THE 16-CHECK EVIDENCE SCAN

Capture identity, stored, pending, and permanent codes, freeze frames, live readings from 62 standard PID formulas, readiness, Mode 06, calibration IDs, voltage, and per-ECU attribution. The session is sealed with SHA-256 and signed by a key generated on your device.

HONEST BY DESIGN

If a module cannot provide data, the record says so. No health scores, no invented coverage, and no universal-compatibility promises. Compatibility is tracked per exact configuration and earned from signed field sessions.

DIAGNOSTIC COACH

Organize hypotheses that cite their evidence and separate observed facts, likely causes, and unknowns. It is an evidence-supported path, not an automated diagnosis.
