I found this game thru their incredible app called Unsolved where you can play multiple games free they are not the full game but you can try several and I love their series of mystery and adventure games! Not the •storyline• so much as the way she uses her gifts. ...She’s a medium with psychic powers. Her father had dropped her in an orphanage at a young age, saying that he could no longer protect her. When she gets old enough, she leaves the orphanage to search for her father, & ends up helping a young girl from a ghost, instead. She gets visions that you work through, in the form of a little puzzle, (which I enjoyed) and you get clues needed to solve the story. Not exactly unique, but the way to get the clues needed to continue keeps it interesting. But what I really love is that there’s just a few of the whole “back and forth” thing. No running all over to get, and place, items. Scarlett’s voice was good, but the male voices didn’t quite match the 2 male characters. But, that’s just a personal preference, of course. The game offers custom settings and a transport map. However, since the game takes place in just 3 different places, the map isn’t really necessary. I absolutely recommend this game. I only gave 4 stars due to not having a bonus game. I’ve read several reviews complaining that the game is too short. I bought it when it was on sale, ($2.99? IDK exactly, but it was definitely on sale) and it’s more than worth the price. I suggest signing up for the Artifex Mundi newsletter, so you can try & but when they’re on sale. I think Cursed Child is a great introduction for a new series.
