We were all supposed to do the hunt in different roles. The app doesn’t seem to support more than a single person/role; I couldn’t see how to connect this app to my role in the hunt. The hunt itself wasn’t that good. There are much better walking tours put out by the city. Geocaching is much better. Although it did take us to a few interesting places, a lot of it was just plain stupid. Take goofy pictures of ourselves and upload them for worthless “points”? Why? Beyond that, it didn’t even work right. Pictures sometimes wouldn’t upload (possibly a cell phone issue), and pictures wouldn’t upload from the photo library (a web app issue, and something they need to fix). Time limits to do stupid human tricks would expire because the uploads weren’t working. Just avoid this and do something fun. Complete rubbish and scam looks to me. Lost money and spoiled holiday surprise to my kid😔 ### 1/5 — Dreadful *2019-12-07* You can’t move on from skanky bars on the bar crawls. We had to time out (an hour!) before being able to move on. The challenges are all designed for people to be wasted to enjoy. This was a top rated app with no in app purchases. It just tells you do download a different scavenger hunt app. ### 1/5 — THIS APP IS DEAD *2019-02-28* tldr: don’t download, no longer functional. As soon as I opened the app I got a message that it’s now a new app and was prompted to download that app instead. If you can’t even be bothered to update your App Store page so I don’t have to download a completely useless inactive app, I doubt your new app shows much care for user experience either. ### 1/5 — Entering voucher is crazy confusing *2018-07-14* I have a voucher already. I downloaded the app & turned on location. The app just pushes you in circles. If you click play now, it takes you to the website to then download the app. But I already have the app. It does not give you a clear place to enter the voucher. For the Find Hunt, it takes you to San Fran. No location arrow. If you find your city, but then click on a different button and go back to Find Hunt, it takes you back to San Francisco again. What a pain. App needs work! ### 1/5 — Key west *2017-12-23* We thought this would be fun. We bought a voucher for 4 people. When we arrived at the start point, we plugged in the voucher code and it only gave us two roles and told me the start point was 2 miles away from the start point given when we bought the voucher. There is no live support. The phone number for “big city hunt” is only a series of recording that end with “good luck”.
