I have dreadful scrolling experiences, with task lists skipping and jumping all the time. If I complete a task it doesn’t mark it as done, so every time I have to scroll through a lengthy list to find the required task and check it off. Great app and activity for a team building - we used the DIY version for a 50 person event and everyone had a great time. I wish the videos could be longer that 15 seconds but that is my only criticism. I found that a kid has taken pictures and video saying he’s at the park (for example) and it’s in front of a house. The same picture is used in at least 5 different hunts, like take a picture on a slide or in front of the rec center, nope just his house!! He has 210 points!! The app does what it’s supposed to do, and I really enjoyed using it ### 2/5 — Hunt Complete *2021-02-12, version 1.6* This app lets me log in, but then it says that the hunt is over when I KNOW it isn’t, and all my friends are participating in it. I am very sad and disappointed. ### 4/5 — FUN! *2019-07-12, version 1.6* I love this! I participated in a company hosted one for work, and had a blast. The only issue we had was with the QR codes. I decided to host one at my property, and our residents are loving it! The employer I spoke to, Liz, made it super easy to sign up and get help. I only rated four stars because it’s expensive. Otherwise, 10/10! ### 1/5 — NOTHING *2019-03-26, version 1.6* There is NOTHING I created an account as instructed by FONZ (Friends of the National Zoo) and there is NOTHING else to do. It asks you to search for an event and NOTHING comes up. I will keep this app until the good weather and “zoo season” starts to see if it starts to work as promised. I will then rethink my Star Rating. Otherwise, I will delete this app and think NOTHING of it. ### 1/5 — Nothing but grabbing your email address *2019-02-12, version 1.6* Before you can see anything you must set up an account with your email address. Once you do, it tells you there are no hunts available. No ability to do anything else with the app beyond that. Should be rated zero stars. Don’t bother. ### 1/5 — Cannot Create Hunts *2018-11-19, version 1.6* Unfortunately, nowhere in the app did it allow for creating a hunt. Only 2 options: search a hunt (which gave zero results in my area) and logout. I checked all the settings and redownloaded the app but nothing works. There is no option to build or create a hunt. No ability to create your own app. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — App is robust enough and hunts are fun *2024-09-18, version 1.7* The Minnesota History Hunt used this app. I was impressed that it always recorded my task even if it sometimes had trouble posting to Facebook. There is an option to upload a photo so you can take a selfie in locations without cell service and then upload later. I loved the option to share my tasks with my friends on social media. I liked being able to see others photos within the app and it felt like we were building some community. I wish that the app would automatically add the hashtag key word to all posts (not just check-ins) so I wouldn’t need to type it each time. I also wish that the app would not distort the uploaded photos. I enjoyed seeing the leaderboard! It was motivating and fun. It was seamless from start to finish, and it was incredible seeing all the photos / videos flood the stream as our employees went out into NOLA. Everyone had a great time, and this platform made it easy. Particularly, the ability to schedule challenges ahead of time (even changing details very last minute - it worked!) and to download so many variations of the stats.
