I have flown and trained pilots on this aircraft in a variety of regions worldwide since 1990, having accumulated approximately 16,000 hrs. Being able to use this as an interactive study guide, relevant to the aircraft system, enables a better understanding of the implications and reinforces your knowledge and decision making process. This application was a game changer for my study and preparation. This application is like having a simulator in your pocket. Instead of rote learning manuals, Scenario 737 allows me to generate a range of situations that I could work through at my own pace using the QRH and FCOM to work through the problems. My sim partner and I could work through the scenarios together and discuss scenario management and helped bring us back to systems review when needed. The real magic is how it combines four cards to create each scenario, forcing you to think dynamically. After just five scenarios, I’d learned more about non-normal management than in two weeks of studying the FCOM. Very clever design. I’d highly recommend this to any FO preparing for command.
