It’s all just a bit slow ans sluggish for me. The camera feeds say they load but they won’t, they’re just an old static photo that won’t actually update. Also shows multiple instances of the same device. I could not find a way to give access to other users in the Apple home ecosystem. I then became severely disappointed after subscribing when I discovered scenes could not be turned off by tapping a scene you had turned on. Having to go to each device in a scene to turn them off is totally unacceptable. It also appears no updates have been made to this app in over a year. May 4th 2021 with the latest iOS updates 14.5.1. Have multiple HomeKit certified cameras from Logitech as well as a dozen homebridged hikvision 4K IP cameras. None of them work. Local. Remote. Vpn. Nada. Home app works fine. And other third party HomeKit apps that show cameras work fine. ### 3/5 — Dashboard is not working *2022-12-21, version 2022.1* Dashboard is not working,but otherwise the app is amazing ### 3/5 — Almost perfect *2021-12-23, version 2021.16* This app is almost perfect for a home controller/dashboard. It has security features to limit access and tons of customization. However there are a few bugs and issues that need to be worked out. A few I have encountered: + performance on my iPad mini 4 (iOS 15.x) is very poor. I know this is expected for old hardware, but it runs other home apps just fine and old iPads make for great in wall controllers + camera video doesn’t load for secondary homes + requires force restart to get cameras to load after making edits to settings ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Five star but *2023-10-29, version 2022.1* Please sort out camera views, they do not work in horizontal mode and zoom too far in ### 5/5 — Very promising app *2022-08-12, version 2022.1* I love the level of customisation! I’m hoping that the devs continue to work on the app as there are a couple of issues such as the scrollbar position in the emoji selection view. I’m happy to say that this is the best HomeKit app I’ve used yet. ### 5/5 — I like it a lot *2021-12-14, version 2021.16* Despite a couple of wants im still rating it 5 stars because it's the best I've tried and I like it a lot. One thing I noticed: in list view the thermostat reports in Celsius but goes back to Fahrenheit on other views. It would also be nice to add sensors to the home screen. Worked around that by assigning my sensors to a separate "sensors" room since I can add the room. The app ui is significantly smaller. Think like when you download iphone app in an ipad. I am using iPhone Xs 256gb running 13.2.3. I contacted Mundeep and he said he will fix it in the version 2021.12. ### 5/5 — Best in its class *2021-04-16, version 2021.10* This is the best home kit controller app it has the best customization, with the capability to add non HomeKit accessories right on to is dash bored like it’s from HomeKit. I use it for my security Cams using RTSP supper easy to set up and very well integrated, but for non home kit cams because they don’t connect with HomeKit and HomeKits home hubs you should have a good network connection for best experience. The layout is very good and makes a lot more sense for my setup than the stock home app. Sometimes the app gets a bit of lag when there are many devices on my iPhone 12 mini, but it’s worth it for me. ### 4/5 — Great App with one drawback… *2022-06-13, version 2022.1* Amazing app, beautiful, customizable, minimal. The only issue I can see is lack of controls for video doorbells (ring in my case) in terms of audio and being able to use the mic. Fixed it would be an easy 5 stars. ### 4/5 — Awesome, but lacks polish *2021-08-03, version 2021.13* This is a really great replacement for HomeKit on your home screen. The custom home is great, though I wish the grid system was a bit more smooth - the ability to collapse empty space would be great. The scene and room tabs are super useful and the customizations are good. I do wish you could tap the details (or just the icon) for a floor and turn off all lights on that level, instead of getting a popover menu of that levels items. Easy enough to replicate with a scene but then I’m leaving the hope tab.
